I'm constantly amazed by the poor photos I see posted as marketing by providers. More of these types are on CL (which I just look at, but don't choose), but also some of their personal websites. If this is meant to entice clientele, then I would think that a decent photo with a smile and something attractive would be the name of the game. Maybe it's just me, but just an expressionless face isn't appealing.  I find a lot of the 'sultry, come hither' looks silly, but recognize that might appeal to some men.  Perhaps a mix would work--at least one with a smile. That would seem to be a priority--who doesn't like a smiling face?  And a smiling face can bring a 7 to a 9.  It doesn't take a professional photographer to get something decent--just a wee bit of effort.  I just don't get it...

Most of the babes using cell phone pics and cheapo snaps are just looking to attract a steady stream of guys, with no concern about *quality* or establishing a reputation or a long term client base. They are marketing themselves as human pincushions lol

The ladies who see themselves as providing a valuable companionship commodity to respectful and appreciative gents go to a lot more time and trouble to market themselves in better ways.

You can sometimes enjoy some quality fucking with the girls with really cheap pics, but usually there is an overall lack of professionalism in their approach to the business as well, with concomitant annoyances...

One of the funniest things I often see is a provider ad or website with totally crappy pics and a statemnt about how "classy" she is LOL....

I only really ever put one up to discourage idiots from soliciting me contantly or to give info about ettiquitte.
People used to ask me for a website and i would feel like if they want to see more or get to know me then they need to get a session.
I didn't know they were trying to see if I was "real".
I used to have an outragous and silly website and ads on Eros but you can't say all those things anymore.
Some people pick a lady for her sense of humor.
Also I feel that the guy should only get an idea of what she will look like.
But , what would I know. I only teach exotic dance lessons.

With the economy so crappy, and ladies being either unemployed or underemployed, the hobby is a way to make some extra $. The new ladies really don't know what they're doing, realize how important marketing is, and don't have the money for professional pics. And concerning the op's statement "a smiling face can bring a 7 to 9". No freakin' way. The only thing that can bring a 7 to a 9 is performance.

7 to 9--That's appearance-wise clearly. Performance is different and obviously can't be judged by a picture.

I like to get a grasp of what a woman is like in terms of personality, education and stuff like that. Some ladies make this information available either directly or indirectly on their website. It helps me decide who to see.

If you believe that our environment helps shape who we are; then I believe that by wise choices I can shape my environment to help make myself a better person. Plentiful information on a website helps me make a wise choice.

I agree. I try to make sure my pics are professional and tasteful because it makes a difference in the kind of gents you attract. I would like to have a higher class of man and therefore take the time to make sure my website is up to par.

several ways a provider can be discrete with this besides the normal blurring of the face.  The lady can turn her head, let her long hair cover her breasts or face, use a cover over her honey pot, etc.

What I like to see is a full picture showing the lady's overall stature but it doesn't need to show her face.
