I have been using "Reality" the female condoms for years & love them. Only problem has been most providers will not use them because they are unfamiliar with them, how they protect STD's etc. They look like a cross between a condom & a miniature GladBag! They were designed for a woman to insert in her vagina. At the bottom of the condom is a plastic ring (looks like a cock ring) The design is for the woman to insert the condom with the ring inside the bottom of the condom bent between her vingers. The concept is the ring expands when inserted and acts as an anchor holding the condom in place until you wish to remove it.. I am unable to maintain an erection with a condom, they suck. The way I use it is remove the ring inside the condom grab The ASTROGLIDE ( the greatest invention that could revolutionize sex!) I put a little into "the bag" and a little on the outside of "The bag", slip the Reality on "The Bigguy" like a regular condom; Voila a perfect fit! I have never experienced discomfort like I have with a condom & you can actually feel yourself inside your partner. I think a lot of pharmacies carry them today. They are packaged in a white box.
Question: I've read about 'the female condom' that slips inside the woman. It seems like it offers the best of both worlds -- a virtually bareback experience for the guy and protection as good as regular condoms for both partners. But there must be a hitch somewhere, or they'd be a lot more popular, right? I'm going to approach my ATF with this idea, but I'd like to collect some feedback on the up's and down's before I do. I have trouble getting off when using a cover. Always have, but I know its a requisite part of the hobby. Not being extremely well-endowed myself also inhibits friction, if you know what I mean. Comments, experiences from guys and ladies alike will be MOST appreciated.
I really like them, much more fluid feeling, however they are a bit awkward to put on, found that it is easier to slip over the guy and then insert vs. inserting and then working the guy in. I believe the biggest reason for lack of popularity is the fact that they run about $10.00 each. I get them for special occassions for my personal friends, but otherwise stick with Magnum (larger size) nicer type of rubber and also, even with an average size guy, I have found when condoms dont fit too tight, they are more pleasurable for both parties involved.
They should make special condoms for providers, they would all have XXL stenciled on the side, in order to make the guy they are with feel like he is big man on campus (ROTFLMAO)
Question: Is there really a difference for the lady when the guy is not wearing a condom vs. he is? I know there is a difference for the guy, but was wondering if the sensation was different for the lady?
I'm wondering if anyone else besides the two posts have had first-hand experience with the female condom -- besides the aesthetic issues mentioned in September. Uncomfortable for the woman? Any reported accidents? Problems? Any comments would be useful. If this thing works, it could be bare back heaven for my tired old schlong.
