Does anyone have advice on paying the TER membership while maintaining anonymity.  I have tried the money order route, but never received credit, then a gift card or 2 and both were rejected.  Any other options out there?

Paypal? I am pretty sure the charge showed up on my credit card statement as CCBILL.LLC.

But then no one but myself sees the invoice for this particular card (it's a business card and I am the business;)

Write legitimate reviews... that's one way to earn VIP status.

the real question is what happens to those international money orders? Same experience and I had to put it on the credit card, which creates unecessary risks. Those intl money orders are as good as cash, so where's all that cash going?

You said you tried gift cards do you mean one of the prepaid visa or mastercard gift cards?  I have used them online before, but you need to follow the instructions carefully.  For some of them you need to put in a specific address or name to use the card online, the documentation that came with the card should help you out.

While reviews are the best way to maintain TER status, for those of us that may not hobby enough for reviews to do it all (or who see the same lady multiple times; you can only get credit for one review per lady), I have found the money order route works well.  The one time I didn't get credit after a week, I sent a polite e-mail to TER and they responded by telling me they were backlogged but then posted my credit right away.  I've never had a problem with money orders.

I tried an Amex which CCBill indicated that TER does not accept. Then i tried a Visa and CCBill indicated the bank rejected it.  Both were gift cards.  As it turns out it appears that I should try a Mastercard as Visa indicatred I would have to call the vendor directly to get them to allow the gift card to go through without a name and address.

Seems like the disappearing money order issue I had is a common theme out there.

It's been 4 months and never received credit.  The bank says I can stop payment on the check but I have to wait 30 days before they will give me my money back.

So did you try the Mastercard gift card and did it work?
