of make up, has anyone seen this on ladies? its now being done pretty commonly for eyebrows, eye liner and lips.
just wondering how it looks and if any ladies have had it done how it feels afterwards, I know it hurts but is it worth the pain?
can't imagine my eye lids and lips being tattooed, think it would be extremely painful.

Being a professional photographer, I have seen quite a few models and other women who have gotten the "permanent" makeup done. Most of it looks great. I guess for some women, they just dont want to take the time every day to do it over and over.

Some folks might enjoy that sort of pain.

First had my lips tatooed in 2000 and have had a touch up in 2005 & my eyeliner done then as well. It IS very painful. Takes about an hour for the lips and an hour for the eyes.

It is GREAT to wake up in the morning looking just like I did when I went to bed. I will continue to have touch ups and am planning on getting my eyebrows done soon (I've been hesitant to do them because I have seen more bad brows than good ones) There is a technique called hairline brows where the tatoo is done in strokes to resemble hair as opposed to a solid line.

This is not the time to bargain hunt....be sure you get someone who only does permanent makeup tatooing and NOT your corner tat parlor....this is your FACE.

My mates both love the way I look without makeup and prefer it to the way that I look with makeup.  I could never be permanently painted w/makeup, I don't think; it's just not my style.  Now an amazingly done full arm sleeve of a zombie devouring brains, that I'd consider.. but not until I have retired from providing!!! :D

Also, as a bi female, I must say I don't think I would find that attractive on a woman -- I haven't in the past.  I am a big fan of a woman's natural beauty.

Locaated in upstate new york who is supposed to be the best in the nation. Maybe 6 hrs up. I do not have it but when I did consider it at one time that is who I was going to use there is a website , I will look and see if I still have her info somewhere around here and forward it to you .
Be careful to use someone who won't over do it you can always add more but never really take it away .Also consider aging into placement and color choices as we do not remain exactly the same forever . Over extenting the eyeliner could look like a scar in 20 yrs when that piece of skin is possibly later in life located under and not over the eye like droopy eyelids etc. Chosing a color for lips that is not too severe comes quite nice choosing deep reds and still having  it there when I am aarp member doesn't sound attractive. Good Luck. Kendall

I had my eyebrows done about three years ago and just love them. I am a true blonde and you could not notice my eyelashes or eyebrows without makeup.

When I had mine done I had the arch lifted to give me more expression and to make my eyes look more opened up. A mini face lift with out the knife! I went light so it is time for a touch up.

Did it hurt? Oh yes
Was it worth it? Yes and I wish I had done it sooner

I'm to chicken to do lips and eyes ;-)

Kisses Haley

I need help with my eyes, being a redhead, my eyebrows and eyelashes are so light. I do not wear a lot of makeup yet could use some help to make my eyes more pronounced, I want them to look natural. I haven't thought about it til recently, it may be an option for me, I am not really sure.  And I am a big chicken, so its a factor as well.
