I soooo dig the ladies I talk with. Not only are they objects of desire, but they're friends that I want to bury my ass in, for a lack of a better term.

Think about it. This is their vocation. Some full time, some part time.

But I've been fortunate enough to weed out the ones that I truly believe were in it for the money, the party, and the fake ass shit that came along with it.

The money's there. The connection is what matters.

 I wouldn't know.
I look at my providers, in the same way as my DR.
I only call, when I want to make an appointment.
I would expect my DR. to be non chalante,if I called ,and told her, don't act like you're not impressed with me.

I generally agree with your post.  However, I am confused by your statement that you have been able "to weed out the ones that I truly believe were in it for the money . . ."  Aren't all the ladies in this (hobby for us and business for them) for the  money?  I concede that there may be ladies who enjoy their work, but it seems that amateur status would enable the ladies  to enjoy all the nonfinancial benefits of  this hobby/business without the legal risks and bad hobbyist risks.  Why would any rational woman put up with these risks if not for the money?

One of my bad habits.  But even when I am not doing that I find they don't want to be on the phone to long.  Not a problem for me.  But I find that the type I look for do not have any presence on the boards at all.  Though, I think they should and have discussed  the topic with them and they seam interested but have not seen any of them on here.

But if you think about it, that is no different than civie life. Maybe you meet a lady architect over some building plans you pay her to do, you guys hit it off, and discover you both have a lot in common and pretty soon you are friends. Obviously, you'd still pay her for architectural work if you needed it done; but that is a separate issue from the friendship you share in common.

BUT -- there's no such thing as an infinite resource. Humans have a finite ability to form connections with people such that those people would lie within their sympathy groups. For each person, the total number of people is about 12; and most of that is already occupied with family, etc.

So there comes a point at which no further connections of substance can be formed without someone else already within the sympathy group being moved from that group to being an acquaintance or the like.

This applies to providers and hobbyists alike. A provider can't truly be bestest friends with 90 hobbyists. It is simply not within her capacity; nor is it within the capacity of a hobbyist to have 15 women he truly cares about.

So what happens with connection-oriented hobbyists is that, over time, they will increasingly prefer women they have already seen, and become less available to new ladies, even though those new ladies may be wonderful.

My personality comes across pretty well on the board and the phone (meaning show out the same way) at least I sure hope so. I'm mouthy (thought not reckless....I think) and opinionated but pretty cool and a little bit funny even, pretty friendly (though odd some are suprised how friendly I really am in person).  Yeah sure I want your money lol but i'm pretty chill I promise
