I would think regulars are better than trying to get new customers

As a businessman, I always believe that long term customers are easier to retain by keeping them happy and continuing the relationship than trying to find new ones.  However, in my limited experience of only a dozen or so providers and three that I see regularly on a monthly basis, I have noticed many providers seem to spend more time advertising on CV for new clients than building a long term business relationship.   The three that I see regularly is always advertising on CV but canceling or rescheduling appointments with me and then offering a discount or longer time on the make up session.  I really think they are blowing my appointment for some new customer that they just screened and putting existing customers on the back seat as backups.  I think this is very bad business practice.  Of course not all providers I have met are like that but from my experience of the three I see on a monthly basis.

Keep the regulars happy, no matter what. Take the rest only when regulars have been taken care of.

If you find your favorites frequently cancelling on you, you need new favorites.

I have several favorites and I think I can count on the fingers of one hand how many times I've been cancelled.

I cannot really answer whether providers in general favor new clients over old ones, because I am not taking a survey. The ladies I see regularly do not stand me up, or reschedule very often, because if they did, I would stop seeing them.

I did have one regular who went flaky on me, canceled twice. She had always been a free spirit, confirming late, sort of coming and going without warning, but she more than made up for it by being wonderful, having no sense of time (hour dates could run three hours), and undercharging me, making me insist multiple times before she would take any extra money for all the extra time. It was all okay so long as she showed up when she said she would. Then she started with the NS, which is doubly a problem if we have a date, just need to confirm, and 15 minutes before the date she comes back to say she is sorry, shit happens.

End of being my regular, which really made me sad.

There are all sorts of providers, just like there are all sorts of hobbyists. They set their rules, and you set yours. If you would like to be treated as a valued customer, keep searching until you find a lady who makes you very happy in every way, not just in the sack when you are lucky enough to get her there. Such ladies exist, and if you spend less time with providers who do not seem to value your time, you will be able to find them more quickly.

Communication before the first date is part of my screening process. I want it to be prompt, organized, thorough, and show some signs of intelligence. Can't say the big head always wins these arguments, but more often than not I will take a pass if things do not proceed the way I want before the date.

Without knowing the exact sector your a businessman in, suffice it to say that your customers are probably less fickle and wont to try the newest, hottest, sexiest flavor of the month when compared to the customers that working girls have to deal with.

Your customers probably agree to deals which guarantee a certain amount of business over a specified period of time. Girls on the other hand deal with their customers sessions on an ad-hoc basis.

All things being considered, I think girls are doing the right thing by catering to new customers, while not neglecting customer retention entirely. And it's not like the girls are blowing you off completely, as they are offering to make it up to you in different ways.

If you're a client who pays the provider a lot then she'll always make room for you. But if you're a bargin hobbyist (i.e only does 15mins or 30min session for no more between 100 to 160) then you're going to always be bumped for the guys who book longer sessions, and pay the most money.

who would book time for, a client who wants a 30min session and can "only" pay 150.00 a bargin deal, or the client booking a 2hr session who has no problem paying 600.00?

The provider may think you're a nice person, but at the end of the day money talks.

The three you see regularly on a monthly basis. You see them for the weekend, where they make enough money to tie them over till you go back and grace them with your presence? Highly fucking doubt it.

They advertise on CV and here cuz they're whores. They fuck for money. You're not there every day/night to pay to fuck them so WTF you think they're gonna do? Sit around and wait for your dumbass to call them when you feel like it?

Sounds like to me they're cancelling or rescheduling with you is cuz you can't get your shit together.

Tell me I'm wrong? Better yet, let your three regulars tell me I'm full of shit since you're such a Prince.

Fuckhead.

sometimes the grass is greener on the other side of the fence because it's brown and dead on this side.

I did get my shit together because I am talking about appointments made a week in advance and not last minute booty calls.  No shit they are whores as you have so elegantly put it but you missed my whole point of why spend time and money trying to find new clients when they can keep a base of repeating customers happy and keep returning. After two or three cancels or no shows, even regulars will move on like me.

Girl will work it of the opportunity was truly on the table.

I think a better term is "repeat" - meaning they come back.

But most providers rarely ever have a true "regular" - every Monday at 6:00pm. Repeats tend to contact you last minute when it "pops in their (little) head" so it's nothing you can count on or plan for. By then, you may already have posted ads and have several responses you are screening... should you now blow those guys off because a repeat contacted you last minute (oh, yeah, those guys posted earlier complaining they got bumped for a regular)?

If she is still advertising, it's because she doesn't have enough prebooked appointments or regularly scheduled repeats to fill the time slots she has that day, plain and simple.

And repeats are notorious for scheduling and cancelling and rescheduling and cancelling again. They are comfortable with you and think they can just see you "anytime." Not so with the guy responding to your ad who is here in town for a few days.

And, as others have pointed out, if she has raised her rate and you are still seeing her at her old rate or a half hour and someone else is trying to book for more, she is going to take the new offer.

On that note, I never cancel or bump a confirmed appointment, whether it's with a new guy or regular - even if I get a "better offer." It's just rude and inconsiderate of the other person's time who may not be able to find a replacement provider. A provider should be a "man of her word" regardless of monetary opportunities imo.

And honest responses I have ever seen on the gd board.  Thanks, I will continue to look for sane people here.  Does the fact that you are sane mean that you aren't that good in bed?  As a corollary to the "crazy chicks are the best in bed" theorem.

You will figure that out when your ______ is in my _________ and you are lost in a euphoric heaven....

"She must be really, really crazy!!!!" hahahaha

in on the game. First, I totally agree with you about appropriate business practice. However, this is not a standard business practice, this is a hobby. As others have mentioned, even though you may be her regular, you will not pay their bills. You may see them often on a monthly basis, but, apparently it is not working for them since they are advertising on CV. They need the money, and they need more clients. As with any other business, the more clients they have, the more income they have.

And, for their regulars, they will still get special treatment because they have seen you many times in the past. For example, you mentioned that you get discounts and longer sessions if they flake on you. Don't assume that you have a special relationship with them because you see them regularly, its only a business, and they seemed to have you hooked. As a matter of fact, if you saw them regularly, they should be the first to book you instead of new clients. However, it appears that they know your level of toleration, and have continued to flake on you to book new clients first before seeing you.

So, basically, you kinda stated what you are to them, "putting existing customers on the back seat as backups". You are only a backup to them because they know they will see you many times. However, as for new clients, they want to explore their leverage for new clients and maximize their income.

It's all about the dough bro, this is a hobby where relationships don't exist. Even though it is your opinion that they should book you first and not flake on you, they know you'll be coming back. You can either say fuck it, and move on and see a new provider, or accept it as is.

You must've been channeling mrfisher or johngaltnh with that one!...

Knocked that one right out of the fuckin' park, lmao!!!

First of all the cancellations may be due to other things in her life...mother visiting unexpectedly, husband back from travel early, daughter sick, or whatever.  What makes you think your cancellations are due to other clients?

As in any business you need new customers coming all the time.  Regular clients are good but won't last forever.  I have been a regular with some, and still enjoy variety in between.  Interest fades and comes back, but not always.

First that is stupid to throw away good money for someone who may not even show up. Then knowing how someone reacts and is stimulated is easier than go on with blinders to try to please someone. Every new person you see there's always a risk involved and that risk goes down with someone you know.

I understand your thinking but maybe there are other reasons for you being canceled. Not sure the age group of the ladies you see but baby sitters problems can drive some ladies crazy. They may have a job and were called in. I have a friend that's a nurse and she has 4 call in , stand by days a month. Kids get sick, car breaks down and shit you get your period. What's a girl to do.

No one would discount a regular to see a new person. They may do it if a dinner date with someone they know is last minute and your just an hour.  Me, I don't do that and only cancel or change dates and times if it is something out of the realm of me handling otherwise. No man likes the feeling of being toyed with.

I enjoy seeing someone that I am comfortable with...I know what he likes and visa versa.  I also enjoy the mystery of someone new it keeps it exciting and exploring different types of sexual adventures is why I love the business so much.  With that said, I would never blow off a regular for the excitment of something new....there is a loyalty factor, unless you did something rude or inappropriate.

To the OP, you say they spend all their time advertising on CV, looking for new clients, but you did not elaborate whether you know for a FACT they are working. CV, just like BP, offers weekly, bi-weekly and monthly postings, where you for instance, pay for a week of advertising and everyday at that time, your ad goes back up. I commonly post a weekly BP ad, but that does not mean I am available every time you see it. Does their website calender indicate they are available?

If they are truly putting aside regulars to see new clientele, that is not normal or good practice. Once you have an appointment, she should keep it, regardless of who else comes around.

I get a lot of calls promising me if I will drop the price they will be a regular. I shouldn't have to point out to them that first you should become a regular and then and then and then I will consider giving you a reduction in price.

So if you got a  (lets say 200$ gal to see you for 80$ [just making up prices here] then she is loosing money by seeing you instead of the new guy who will pay full price.) So when you ask for a deal think about that.

I only offer the discount for "off hours" - hours I'm not normally seeing full priced clients.

I had one regular who was a bartender and had Mondays off. I could "afford" to see him at a very low rate on Monday morning or afternoon because I usually wasn't working at that time anyway. But that's the problem you face giving too many discounts when your time slots are limited.... You can't "afford" to see the discounted regulars because you need so many "full priced" time slots filled each week.

I've lost some regulars who were steeply discounted (read: hot as hell!) that way. Each time they asked if I was available, I really couldn't see them because I had other ads running at a higher price. It's really tough when you really click and you want to see the guy cuz it's fun. I now just give extra time to regulars rather than giving a discount. That way I'm not having to choose between economics and camaraderie.

this happens so much....I can't understand why they feel so special? I would be more than willing to give a discount to someone if someone were to assist me in some way.... but they never want to do anything for that $100 discount they ask for. I usually don't ask for anything except when I'm offering something in return, so I can't understand how these guys think. Many regulars ask for discounts & all of them had lame excuses for no money last month, so I offered a couple of them discounts if they could give me a ride somewhere......this is toooo sickening to repeat, but each one of them put me in a worse spot than I was in leading me to believe they would do (I mean actually taking 20minutes of their time to just drive me somewhere, one was to the doctor & drop me off I wasn't on the bus line & very sick, the 2nd offer was to the store to buy a car part & drop me back off somehow they all had time to schedule the appt...but no extra time for anything that would have gotten me out of the rut I was in....It was a new guy that came to my rescue & even had the time to put the part on my car which took 3minutes....But each of the regulars said they would then stranding me last minute....No of course I won't see any of them again, & I will stick to my no discounts policy....
I have found the only reason someone wants to be a regular is for the discount.
This is funny---when I was new I had a guy I saw weekly who said he would pay my rent each month, but I would have to see him up to 3 to 4 times a week. My rent, was only $600. month....I said goodbye.

I have to agree with DT, how do you know she they canceled on you for another client. It seems to make sense to you that providers should put their regulars first, so assuming they cancelled on you to take another appt isn't right. There are many things in their day to day life that could have went wrong and caused them to cancel. maybe you should try not jumping to conclusions.

For me, I have only cancelled one appt ever and it was because I had to go pick someone up and take them to the hospital. There was no waiting, I had to go then. I told the guy exactly what happened and he was very understanding.

You also sound jealous that your girls are still advertising. I'm sorry but if your seeing them on a monthly bases, I'm assuming that's once a month for each right? How is once a month going to support any girl? Your girls will only stop advertising after they retire, which would mean you wouldn't be able to see them at all. Unless your the reason they retire, which is very unlikely.

also CV reposts BP ads with out permison, even more so when the lady is reviewd here.

let me just make up a dollar amount say $250.00
ok my regular comes to see me once a week
isn't that a house payment?
My regulars have been so over time. I am sure they see other gals as well but the house payment has got to hurt and show up.

But I never never never cancel a session for a newbee. Hell he might not even show up. No if I've seen you before you are the cat's pajamas in my  book

Renee

Twice this week when a regular was on his way each driving approx an hour to see me, I got a call from a new client which both times I lost cuz I waited for the regular client, I almost made my regular client wait for me the extra 15minutes that probably would have been needed to see the new client, but instead I gave up the money only to be kinda irritated for doing so, because this gave an opportunity for a new girl to get herself a new client.
