Just currious on the problem and solution, was it related to something like Verified by Visa type security services? I've occationally had that problem with various transaction when traveling -- and it's a genuine PITA when you're trynig to arrange travel on a short time line.
I'm finding that several of my credit cards are not allowing payment of the VIP membership fee. I don't want to get involved with digital currencies. What other choices do I have to renew my membership??
Good question. Same issue providers are having as well. P411 and also Tryst no longer take credit cards so they want you to use bitcoin. You can thank Sesta/fosta for this nonsense!!!
American Express all offer anonymous gift cards, but you go to "Contact us" at the bottom of of the page and ask what their preference is. Some of these may pack in a service fee, which has to be allowed for.
If anyone is feeling generous and wants to donate VIP days to an active provider I am gladly accepting voluntary contributions for VIP TER days. 😁Smile for me!
I have not renewed my membership recently, so I can not answer your question. Sorry. I recall paying for a yearly membership with my debit card.

In my case it's somehow related to the international transaction and maybe the category, I'm not sure exactly. This is not limited to TER as it has occurred on other sites like Slixa when making payments. It seems the first attempt is always declined. Typically I get a text informing me that the transaction failed and I can try again.
The last time I renewed the subsequent attempts were showing as not processed on the TER side, however they were in fact approved. Unfortunately I was unaware of this, and tried a couple more times until I got a confirmation response, resulting in multiple charges. I reached out to admin and they took care of it immediately - great customer service!
I've had the same experience when renewing my TER VIP. My credit card gets declined, I get pissed, and then a few minutes later I get an email (usually in a junk file) from the credit card company asking if it was a real transaction initiated by me. When I click yes it instructed me to re-submit the transaction and then it is approved. . So, if your card is declined always check your junk/trash/spam file for a confirmation email about the transaction. It's happened to me the last 3 times I re-upped my VIP.
the people who transact in it are mainly those who conduct questionable/illegal activities. And crypto transactions are traceable by an analysis of the block chain in the ledgers.
Unfortunately it looks like your attempt to purchase VIP membership has failed due to your card being declined. Good news is that we have several other payment options that you could try.
