Re: Simple solution...don't list a phone number on the net.
yes. I do prefer email for first time contact. I can't always carry around a second phone or justify why I may have one when working my real job. Now I just turn it on to make a call. But, I always want to speak with the gentleman before our date. Not speaking to someone until they show up at the door , just creeps me out. Anybody could be sending an email or txt mesg.
Sometimes as a provider I feel as though I may come off a little harsh on the phone. Tone is my best friend and I'm quick to call him for help. Your just gonna act like you didn't here me ask your name? Tone come over here and handle my lightweight (dial tone). Calling again like I forgot you just called me... you can speak to the receptionist tone also. I just have the lowest tolerance for ignorance and bs. If you have to call and ask about donations, services, rates etc. and the provider clearly has provide that information in the ad why not call and know what you want. I love how I have almost a decade of visual merchandising & retail sales experience. It has truly taught me how to cut short the bs. Patience is truly a virtue.
Unless the provider has a rule to initially speak to me I try to avoid the phone at all cost for that very reason for first dates.
You never know but after hearing the voice and tone you definitely get a vibe.
I suppose the same tones could be in a "PM", "E-mail", or " Text".
Another reason I do not care for the phone is that
I don't want the phone ringing when I am on a date so I also just assume you are on one. LO
There is a reason why most of us don't. You screen them over email so you can simply hit delete if he is a time wasting, ass. On the phone, it's too much of a damn hassle. I suggest you remove your phone number and screen first, then give them a number to call on the DAY of the appt. You will seriously save so much time, and weed out all the flakes by doing this.

I tried this before but I just didn't have luck. I am a newbie and new to TER so I don't have enough established clientele to be e contacted only.
None of my FBSM girls are old hands at this, and I have never used a phone number for them either. I do the screening, and that's just the way it is. If I get, "Hey are you available" it's spam. I don't have the time (ok I do, but I don't have the patience lol) to pull information out of clueless fktards who can't read. I give them two chances to provide what I want, or they go to the spam or "time wasting idiots" folder.
On the phone, you are giving them so much room to chat you up, ask stupid shit, and play around before you even know if they are legit. With email, you know in 2 min. if they have refs or not, and can hit delete. You also don't have to worry about discretion because no one can hear you sending an email.
So, though it seems like your phone might ring more than your inbox fills up, how many of those actually turn into legit and profitable bookings? I know very few big spenders who make phone calls, because they can't just call up a hooker lol. They are discreet businessmen who like to get pre-screened. Phone calls are almost always last minute too. Did my time running an agency that way, back in the day.
This always happens to me.
I call when I'm close, and this cute, quiet voice answers..
I can't hear you! That makes me do things like repeat the room number.
Hey! It's loud in the city, and I'm deaf!
I understand the cute voice thing. But gimmie a break.
Get my dumb, deaf ass in the door first.
Or maybe I should get one of those old person cell phones.
You know? The ones with the really big numbers and the super loud speaker.
It's so much easier for me to conclude legitimacy by a phone screen. When it's just text/email the respond time can be hours to days. I understand and appreciate the need for discretion which is why I do like PM. But other than that its hit and miss with email, mainly I'm irritated by the delay not to mention if I'm in a bad spot service wise it can be a problem. I only use one phone but it handles a few numbers for me and I have to option to not recieve notifications on my work lines which is awesome because I too hate the idea of juggling two phones. Believe me there is an ap for that.
I'm sorry ladies. I can't hear it. I can hear that it is sexy. But the actual words..
Nope. So I have to try to find a quiet place in the middle of a random block in NYC. Good luck.
I would so much prefer a loud talking, specific woman on the other end of the line.
This way my dumb ass doesn't go knocking on the wrong door.
(It almost happened)
Lol I have no choice but be loud in hopes that it is intimidating, I don't want to service just anyone. And a true fan of mine that really wants a date knows its just a part o my whole no games procedure.
