I have no problem posting what he's said in the past. I believe more than once.
I saved about $5 parking at a meter on the street rather than in the hotel's garage.
So, at least there's that.
She stopped at the end of the driveway and asked where I was going. I said I was going for a few groceries. That was one of the very few meetings I had to cancel. I want to the grocery store for one small bag...and had a depressing day.
ex found a 7/11 receipt that included condoms .. ooops irony was i wound up not needing them .. got divorced a year later anyway not related to that.
current wife (20+ years) i pulled the pin that a while back .. she knows and its just as long as i don't do anything stupid ..dont ask dont tell kinda thing 
so i am so very careful now about evidence.
Had a similar story, SO had a car trouble at the garage (flat tire) and i was getting ready to go see my ATF...I offered to give her ride to work then pick her up later (so i can get to my appt with my ATF), but she wanted to get towed and fixed at the local car repair and of course she wanted me to stay with her....
Well, you know what happen next, i have to cancel because there is no way i can make the appt, well, my ATF must have adapted a new no cancellation policy recently (i'm sure several of her clients must have cancel on her at the last min). so I'm no longer her client....oh well, it sucks but life goes on...

...especially if it was the first time you cancelled at the last minute. Of course, you should have offered a cancellation fee. If it was my ATF and I thought she was worth keeping as an ATF, I would have given her the full amount. That way she wouldn't be out anything and I'd still have my ATF.
to answer your question...yes i offered full amount as cancelation fee. No she doesn't have to cut me a slack, because at the end of the day, it's a business transaction..you said it your self "she is my ATF", which also means she also someone else's ATF. she made a business decision to cut ties to those who cancel at the last min/hour whatever.
like I said it sucks but life goes on...plus I have more than 1 ATF.
the real question is, in the last 2-4 years, why all of sudden, providers starting to adopt cancelation policy??
While it's hardly the case that mongers complaining a lot about NCNS by providers generally there seems to be, at least in posts and comments here, a bit of a bias of "when I have to cancel it's really an emergency and justified so should not result in problems. When she cancels on me it is a bit problem for me and never justified."
I don't think that would be the whole driver here but if guys are expecting others to cut them slack but not reciprocating when the shoe is on the other foot one should expect the ladies to start seeking something to compensate for the lost income.
I also think some of the other forums and venues have more of a culture for that so the practice spreads.
Another factor is probably the decreased business over the base few years and increases risks, and the increasing costs of business that were slower to show up in the pricing have raised the opportunity costs associated with any cancellations so provide some additional incentive towards adopting a cancellation policy.
As for the whole "my AFT did this to me" aspect. You're on point about it still being a business relationship but additionally, just because someone has an ATF doesn't mean that the lady see them as their ATF client. The relationship there can (and perhaps more often than not) is asymmetric.
[Probably should be split off to a different thread if the goal it talking about why cancellation policies are getting more widely imposed, not that I really think it would be very fruitful. I think most have a position and think most will just argue their position rather than considering what dynamics might be in play.]

I was shacking with a hooker for awhile. I thought we had a pretty open relationship, I was cool with what she did but apparently she wasn't too thrilled with my little Vegas getaways.
I had just got back from Vegas, decided to crash out at her place on my first night back, Then I got a text late that evening from someone I met while there asking if I was still in Vegas. She saw the text, ask "WTF" and then she cold cock me flat on my grill. Within 2 days I was ask to leave, hit the road, get the fuck outa here....I could've' said..."Wasn't me"
My first wife figured out I was still messing with my old married girlfriend. Which ended in a divorce. Got married again (not to the old girlfriend) and eventually the old girlfriend wandered off. That's how I got into this biz ... missed having it on the side. There is an excitement to the taboo.
Lots of guys just want some strange even if their wife is still putting out.
i'm not quiet sure i agree with you on that, because biologically speaking, we men (male, xy chromosome) always wants to (what's the next gen terminology) "smash" different chics...or we want variety in term of women. But we always go home to our main girls (in this case, our SO, wife, gf, partners etc).
Even though you can say if our SO (wives, gfs etc) taken care of business at home, we (men) still want to have varieties......hence why this industries is the oldest and the most $$$$$ industries in all our human lives, and trace back to before the histories was even recorded.
Now obviously we (men) just want varieties without string attached, and hence why we took up this hobby in this industries. Just my 2 cents
I had all my devices synced with one another. S/O was at work, but it was the end of the week so half a day for her. I reached out to a local regular for a morning session, but for whatever reason she didn't get back to me and when she did it kinda drug out. I was cutting it close to the S/O being home but still decided to sneak out real quick. Back to the synced devices, S/O comes home and hears the alerts going off on the iPad via iMessage, found the location the provider sent me along with room number and decided to catch me in the act.
Yes. She didn't catch me in person but confronted me because of cash withdrawals and restaurant credit card charges. If I didn't give her some cash and take her out to nice restaurants it would probably have been okay, because all she cares about is my money.
The only other time was when my three-year-old walked in on us when I was with the nanny and in the act. She had been on top, but rolled over so that my body shielded hers from view, but all he said was "what are you guys doing?" and asked to get some snack to eat.
All my SO’s know who I am & what I do. I’m to old to lie & waste my time. I love the thrill this hobby provides. The difference now from when I first started is I have the privilege to choose who deserves my time. Chemistry is a must.
