It is incredibly bad right at the moment. I have worked a lot of calls , many of them really bad. We have hospitals without power making patient care even more challenging.
Most of the impact area has no power, and is flooding. We are strong people that will over come again. I'm looking forward to drinks, good food, and a beautiful woman.

She is okay, and I'm sure will have a typical LR thread about the experience.

My thoughts and prayers are with you as well.  I try to go to Jazzfest every year but may be at a real job next year!  I hope I can find a traveling position! I'd come there if I could, just not in the summer!  Be safe, all my friends! Southern Gentlemen are the best! Kalina

It was scary as fk being right on the water this time...I was uptown when Katrina hit, so not the same. Special thanks to my good friend MagicMedic who not only risked losing his job, but his life to make sure I was ok more than once. You guys really are so much more to me than you will ever know!! I am alive and my mouth is back running, but I have 5 loads of towels to wash and money to make ha ha. Love you all!

All of my family and friends are safe and made it through, but there are dozens with a lot of damage. After I get things cleaned up on my end, I plan to try and help in any way I can. The roads are still closed in a lot of places and Laplace seems to have taken the biggest beating. I have family in the really southern parts which is where my daughter is off at school, and they are all fine too. This was not nearly as bad as Katrina thank goodness!!
