Ok, so I did what was suggested by many hobbyists.
I became a VIP member so I could have access to the full reviews and reviewers history.
So I check a couple of providers whose reviews are all incredible. Sounds good,right?
Then I check every reviewer's history and they all have 10 or more reviews submitted and the worst experience they had was Average.
Do you think this is possible?
Even if you think about the probabilities, this would never happen.
What good is a site like this, if every review is great?

Presumably, a hobbyist who selects providers at random without regard to their reviews will end up with a range of experiences from bad to excellent with most in the middle (average).

However, I and I'm sure most reviewers select the women they see from their reviews on here and therefore end up with mostly good to excellent experiences.

Look at those reviews using this analogy. There are many 5 star restaurants in your area and some others all the way down to the dreaded greasy spoon. People, after doing their research and reading the excellent reviews for the 5 star restaurant, go there and have a great meal. The 5 star restaurant wants to keep it's customers happy and so they pay special attention the service and the menu to keep customers coming back. These diners then give a rave review to others about their experience there. And so the restaurant with the excellent reviews keeps getting the excellent reviews. Now if a customer doesn't look at the reviews and just picks one at random his experience will vary depending on the place he chose to dine at. If I choose nothing but 5 star restaurants to dine at then all my reviews will reflect those choices. I hope to NEVER have anything but a 5 star experience because I only choose to dine at the finer establishments.

Like a TV commercial I remember used to say “An educated consumer is our best customer”

I think maybe you didn't do quite enough research and perhaps that's why you didn't have the experience you were looking for. Although with the girl you reviewed, I can definitely see how you feel some of the reviews were misleading.

I read your review, and a bunch of the others about the provider you saw. One thing that jumped out at me is that the actual reviews are all over the place. Forget the rating numbers and look closer at the text.

I got the impression that this provider is very much a YMMV provider, as some of the reviewers had a great time, some very similar to yours.

That's usually a big red flag for me. With So many choices,next time stick with a provider that has consistant performance reviews (not just rating number wise, but pay closer attention to the text). One of the reviewers gave her a 7, but it sounded more like your experience.

you'll find that only two were mediocre at best. Oddly enough, both of those were BEFORE I started using TER the way it's supposed to be used. That's what good a site like this is.

If you talk to a lot of the other guys here, you'll also find that their worst experiences were Pre-TER.

I am suspect if the lady only has one or two reviews and they are both 'over the top.'  Also, when I read the reviews, I pay attention to see if they seem similar or have similar grammar.  

If they reviews are from mulitiple reviewers and over a decent period of time, yep they are going to be pretty accurate.

Every review is not great, far from it. The one you yourself wrote was certainly less than flattering and I'm sure it was your honest opinion based on your experience.  That being said, A lady who has been around a while is generally dong things right so it stands to reason that her reviews will all be excellent, good or average.  Even a guy who didn't find a lady his particular cup of tea is not going to slam her over a simple lack of chemistry. At least I know I wouldn't.

Look, you've got one review.  My advice would be to stick around here a while, use the system and see a few more ladies before you decide that the reviews are a waste of time.

Some people feel bad about posting a bad review, so they will only post one when it was a good, or better, experience.

If you have read though the newbie board & the FAQ at the top, you'll find reason for TERs existance...  guys who got scammed in some way & don't want to again.  TER reviews are not a cross section, but mostly the select ladies.  Sure, there are some guys who can't resist TOFTT...  at least the more experienced guys know the risks & also have devoluped a scam radar to sometimes avoid trouble.  Sometimes not, & on those occasions hopefully they will write an honest review (as I did) so the next guy will know what to expect if they go there/

I was scammed before I found TER, & I resented not only the loss of donation but also the wasted opportunity (to have been with some one good).  

If you want to see a large cross section, than use the search feature to search your area code.  Then do another search on your region.

Staff is pretty understanding about things like this.
