I agree. That approach can make compatibility spot on and not do a disservice to either the client or the lady. Laughing is always a great mood enhancer. Some of the best sessions I have had were when we both made each other laugh and we totally relaxed.

I firmly believe that each man and each provider has a certain style and that when these styles match, the session is great for both. The mismatched ones are where the issues are. I am not good with guys who like total control over the session. I like a bit of give and take but do like to remain in my comfort zone. When out of that zone it is pretty darn obvious that I'm uncomfortable. My website, if read in it's entirety will let any smart guy know that about me and if he chooses to see me, and is OK with my style, has a really great time.

Nothing against the type of guys who have their agenda nicely formulated in their heads as to how the session will go...that's their style. The same way I have mine...we just need to meet with those we fit best with.

Would you rather have a romantic review written about you or a hard explicit diary of what happened?

But if he must, i would prefer exactly
what a "Gentleman" would offer, nothing short of
that. What is a blondebrunette? Tips? Streaks?
I've always been just one or the other. ;-)

Why would you prefer not have any reviews? I know many people do not see ladies without reviews, so how would that promote your career?
Ladies change hair colors, right?

There are thousands of ladies that do not receive reviews and do very well. This site is not indicative of the whole providing population. In fact, it's a small portion of what's out there, for both clients and providers. It's just more vocal..on the boards to make it seem that this is the only way to go.

I am sure that is true. They probably are reviewed verbally or recommended by other hobbyists. There has to be some kind of score keeping.
Personally, I refrain from seeing unreviewed Providers, for the mere reason that most of the time the information is incorrect, there is bait and switch and all together a headache, more often in a particular city, where one picture is shown and some one else turns up form an agency. Happened to me loads of times, and  I turned them back, with no hesitation.

Of course this site is not the only one to look at for reviews, but still I appreciate the feedback of other individuals and think there is a great percentage of accuracy in these reviews, submitted here.
I normally deduct one or two points from the look as it is matter of taste, and one point from performance  in my own mind until I experience it myself. This way there is no disappointment.

Totally understand where you're coming from. Once bitten twice shy, third time forget it...;). You have got to do what works for you as do the ladies...everyone is happy then and can get down to having a fine old time...;)

If you are writing your reviews to curry favor with providers, your reviews are useless to the hobbyists here. The reviews we provide for *you* make it possible for you to hobby safely and happily. Your obligation is not to make the ladies happy but to report accurate and useful information to those of us who submit the reviews which you yourself rely on.

Too many reviews read as though they were either written to promote the hobbyist who wrote them or to please the provider.

Get over it. It's a business.

You are doing her a favor to write her a good review - but be sure she has earned it first, and include the information other hobbyists need to make an informed decision.

This is actually in the interest of the provider as well.....

Agree but incomplete.  A good review is written for the guys reading it AND for the provider.

It should be honest but part of that honesty is representing the mood of the encounter.  I've found women who prefer "romantic" reviews generally prefer romantic sessions.  Providers who want non-stop action reviews tend to give PSE action sessions.

If I present the mood in according to what she provided which is usually the mood she wants, then it prevents some unintended mismatches.

These boards are already slanted far towards the hobbiests, doing more of that chases the providers away (and a lot have already stopped contributing more than just ads) which is detrimental to all of us.  Honesty, yes.  But both sexes need to be considered to make this worthwhile.

however, there are too many providers out there who actively "manage" their reviews. One who travels through my area specifically states on her website NOT to review her if you cannot give her 9s or better.....  and some of them back it up with bullying and threats.

The last thing we need is an attitude of wanting to *please the provider* with the review. That destroys the integrity of the review system and its usefulness for its intended purpose.

Again - the reviews are *for the hobbyist" not the provider. It must be this way in order for the reviews to be credible and useful. Any sensible provider who "provides" good service would not want it any other way.  Only those with something to hide want to "manage" their reviews.

A last thought - I enjoy the provider presence on these boards. I like seeing their posts, their ads. I do not want this to become a boys-only locker room.

BUT

When it comes to the reviews. let's keep straight what we are doing, and where our obligation lies....

You are absolutely correct, no doubt about that. What I really meant by the question was, the type of wording used in the review. For me some of the reviews could be construed as "impolite" and treat the Lady like an "Object", whilst the same correct information could be relayed to everyone in a perhaps more Gentleman like manner.
I also do not like the fact that providers are asking for ratings that they do not deserve, I think this is dishonest and unfair to other providers who are set to perform and to Hobbyist who rely on this info.Further it makes the effort fail.

Write it honestly and it's going to be good for everyone.  Certainly agree a provider should not selectively manage her reviews, then they are just ads in disguise.

Thank you...some men on here will never understand this very simple logic.

these help her know who the jerks are, whom she would prefer to avoid, with good reason

I do not believe in treating a lady as a "thing" in my reviews. My reviews use the appropriate acryonyms, are not about "chest thumping" and not about deingrating providers.  ON these points I agree with you

However, it still remains that the reviews need to be accurate and useful. Some gents have tried to post reviews which were so "gentlemanly" that they did not contain adequate useful information to be approved by TER Admin...

It all depends on the lady as to what type of review she prefers: down and dirty, plain jane, or some where in between ( of course they all want 10's). The most important part of the review is that it is a true assessment of the time you spent with her. To solve the problem of how to word the review, I ask the lady at the ens of our time together how she would like the verbage to read, out of respect to the lady.

I thought the raunchier the better on TER. In fact I have heard that some reviews are not accepted because they are light on graphic, blow by blow details. Reviews are for the men...and it seems that they prefer the blow by blow type format...every position used, fairly clinical details of actions and reactions. I don't think they have any use for a more emotive /romantic style of reviewing. Please, someone correct me if i am wrong.

Yes, it is true that I have had a couple reviews get rejected for lack of "specific details."  On the other hand, that does not mean that every review has to be in the format of "Letters to Penthouse" or anything like that.  It is possible to write a complete review while still maintaining a bit of discretion, but is takes a little more effort.

To me, the best reviews are the ones where the following items are covered:
1.  Brief description of the provider's appearance and/or whether her photos are accurate.  If they are not, what was different.

2.  Some kind of sense of what the atmosphere and/or mood of the encounter was.  Is she a wildcat from the get-go or does she like to ease into it while getting to know you?

3.  Basic concept of activities.  Don't need the dirty details, but I do need to know whether her profile is accurate.  This is less important with a provider that has many reviews with which to figure out what might be expected.

4.  It is helpful if the writing is coherent and grammatically correct.

5.  A well-written review can serve the purpose of pointing out how a less-than satisfying appointment could have been better.  It also can let a top-notch provider know what it is she is doing that rocks a guy's world.

Bonus points if the review is somewhat entertaining and humorous.  Hey, if you can't laugh while having sex, you're doing something wrong.  I manage to make all the ladies laugh ...uh ... is that a good thing?

If anything, reviewers are too maudlin. The "lady" is special...My new ATF...Treat Her Right...etc.

I don't like them to be overly clinical. The best are simply "sexy" and fun. It's a false dichotomy between romantic and clinical. The real world is somewhere in between.

90% of positive reviews are literally the same words and descriptions.

For entertaining reviews, you need to search for bad reviews. I don't wish anyone a bad experience but kudos to those who write humorous accounts of those failures.

I recently saw a provider for the first time that was over the top with admiration, talk about our future, and the trips we would go on in a couple years. I played along, and told her I loved her.
Fortunately I am not gullible.I thoroughly enjoyed the fantasy while I was there, and when I left, I walked back into the real world, exactly like I do after watching a great movie.
I haven't wrote her review yet pondering if I should warn the gullible guys who think they might become her BF, or just describe the great sex?
I'm thinking I should just write about the great sex. She seemed  smart enough to weed out the potential stalkers.
In her defense,I do look like Goober.

If a guy posted a review that had a PSE tone because of the way he wrote it and it made it look like I wanted to be treated like a blow up doll, but I got 9's and 10's I would have that somehow removed. I am not that type of provider and do not want to see men who want that type of action. It would significantly inhibit a guys choice because he would be pissed that I would not perform like the review and it would not enhance my business in the slightest.

I am so far from PSE that it's not even funny but some reviews come across that way. If I had my choice...and know I/we never will, I would opt for something that truly reflected the session as a whole, not just a list of activities and movements.  Some guys are great at doing this but these dudes don't review on TER because they're typically not accepted. I have had some great reviews written about me, but not on this site, that reflect the type of woman I am, the type of guy who could potentially appreciate what I have to offer and what is expected.

I didn't enter this hobby for the PSE experience. Nor do I show up on a date with a pre-printed form complete with acronyms with a block to the side to be checked upon completion. Consequently, there is no scoring system for me at the bottom of this fictitious scoresheet that helps me decide whether to write a good or average review.

I discovered this hobby because I was in search of a romantic encounter with a beautiful young lady.  Sometimes I'm successful, sometimes not. But my objective is to completely escape for the time we are together. In fact, I hope to all in love with this lady.  At least for the time we are together. Then it's back to reality.

So if you read my reviews, I think you will find that they follow a more romantic theme.  I do try to describe as much of the physical nature of the date as feasible for my fellow hobbyists, but more importantly (at least to me), I try very hard to describe how I feel, and how she makes me feel. To me, the sex is the destination. But the journey is our connection, and how well she succeeds in helping me escape this world for the time we are together.

The greatest compliment I've received from one of my reviews was that it was "touching".  Well, it was because from the very first kiss she touched my soul, not just my lips.  So I feel I try my best to describe the date as accurately as possible....but I may be looking through different glasses than you.

Sorry -- but to continue a little, I've received feedback several times that ladies have read my reviews and  have agreed to see me based upon the approach they take. Maybe not romantic, but certainly not so descriptive to turn some one off.

You can be respectful of your fellow hobbyists by telling the truth. But you can also show the same respect to the ladies we see by the manner in which we describe our encounters.  Like my first post just said...our reviews say as much about us as they do about the ladies.
