Re: recruiting interviews?

Reading the below thread on evolution of the hobby, in my area indies can do very well on their own.  Agencies are great farm teams.  So, the question is, do the owners of agencies physically "interview" their recruits, testing skills, and "coaching" how to perform?  Seems like a natural, but then again, agency owners could want to keep an employer, employee distance.

wants to "interview" their ladies in that manner.  I can be the buffer providing employer/employee distance.

I am willing to work long hard hours at this job for no pay!

I promise a fair and blanaced report back to the agancy and even a review for the lady, so she has one when she starts work.

Fee free to PM me or post here and I WILL MOST DEFINITELY respond.

FYI I am willing to start "work" immediately!

Thanks guys.  Funny replies, but nothing substantive yet.  Tom Cruise's first film "Risky Business" with Rebecca DeMornay was hilarious, but also featured an erotic train ride too.  In the new agency environment (as always) Management has its' privelages.

the ones who can likely won't.

The heads of the agencies will likely not want to publicize that they "test" their ladies and ladies who work for agencies are unlikely to admit to being "tested" and "trained" by their agency bosses.

I applaud your question, but I wonder how much response you will really get that is substantive.

Also, many agency ladies ads are posted by the agencies and I wonder how many actually have a TER presence of their own from which to answer.

I wish you good luck in finding the anwers you are looking for.

I've been approached by "agencies" where they wanted to screw me so they could tell their clients how good I am. Yeah right. Piss off. I've also been approached by agencies that had seen my reviews and wanted to put me on their team right away. I decline, but some agencies are legit, some not so much... I would never ever do an agency owner for a job, though. It's just stupid.

the agency owner is a lady who invites you along on a double where you receive your regular donation...would that be a fair audition?

I don't personally work for agencies and I don't trust my screening to anyone but me honestly. I'd politely decline. I'm not hurting for business.

In theory, though, that would be a fair "audition" I suppose, but the idea of auditioning at all is so stupid.

My probe was curiosity with a presumption.  Agencies have a substantive exposure, risk, upfront advertising and promotion with high potential rewards.  Entrepeneurship at its finest. If you follow the "farm team" analogy, who would invest in an untested rookie without thoroughly screening the recruit?

This was intended as a fun post, educational.  Substantively, we know that many indies "graduate" from agencies.  They may be less reluctant to contribute their experience.

i can tell you right now the agency i worked for only wanted to know if i had a valid driver's license, whether or not i was a rat, (if i could be trusted), how long i was willing to stay so that they knew whether to pay for quality pictures or take them their selves, and if i was running from the law. i was there the longest built up their trust and was offered to take over a portion of the agency since i was in such high demand they also considered me training the new girls on how to maintain good repore and build their own personal repeat client base to minimize turnover. but then i got sick so jealous girls started stuff while i was gone and now i am on my own.which is good for me i make more since i don't have to share. and i can truely personalize myGFE experience without being limited to the confines of the agency rules.

Many years ago I frequented a long standing MP (In fact they are still around.) and the owner had me do "training sessions" with new masseuses at half price to check out their technique.

It was a lot of fun and back then I could always use a bargain.

All of my appointments cancelled on me but one and in desperation I contacted an agency to see if they'd represent me for the 4 days I was in town and my hotel prepaid through Hotwire.  I spoke with a guy that said he wanted to meet with me first and take a couple of pics to post to his site.  We talked for a bout half an hour and then he decided that I'm much too quiet to really be into this and asked me to give him a BBBJ to prove that I had what it took.  I politely declined and contacted Eros to put up a visiting ad same day ad I managed to do okay.  I thought that was extremely out of line, especially since I had pages of reviews!

an agency deal would ever play out like that...it's just that you don't travel, I usually avoid LA and I was having a real naughty fantasy about having a fun time with you and my ATF here in NY...

most will either interview personally or have a  male friend or client do the deed for them.  Logic:  make sure the girl is on the up an d up and not L.E.

Of course this could only had been a ploy to test the goods for themselves, but for what I've heard, this is the norm.

Charlottenoble,

I can't speak for all agencies in our market, but I'll tell you how I do it.

To answer your question NO I actually don't "test" the girls out. I believe the practice you are speaking of would be for someone without a good business sense. In order to run an agency or any business for that matter you need have respect for and from your co workers. I've never hired a virgin to my knowledge so they have a basic understanding of the "job skills" needed. I prefer to let them read well established provider reviews to help them better understand what our market expects. If they don't run screaming from the building:)
I take a few photos and send them to my good regulars and ask if anyone wants to be the first appointment. We waive our booking fee and make sure the lady is fully compensated by the client, then I get honest feedback both from the client and girl. That's it!!! No mystery of the hiring practces at this agency group.

My advice to any lady that is asked to "audtion" for her job, is to walk away. There are to many options out there to let yourself be taken advantage of in that manner.

I have spoken with a couple of different agencies..
Was not impressed with there style (small local ones).

Have been approached with the "test" ride also.. While not opposed to it  I do feel it is 'wrong'.. I am well aware that many agencies do have a sort of "TOFTT" guy you see first like was pointed out in this thread..
That I would expect....

Legitimate agency owners do not expect the ladies they represent to have sex with them.  Pimps do.

No legitimate agency would ask a lady to perform on someone as part of their "interview".

That's digusting. ACK!

A reputable agency will never engage in this sort of sleazy behavior. First, because prostitution is ILLEGAL and condoning it in any way endangers the agency owner, not in a small way either. Case in point:

Look up Almighty Supreme (yes, that's his legal name)in San Diego, CA. Just a few years ago this man was convicted of RICO and received years and years and years (Life, I believe) for running an escort service where he knowingly employed prostitutes and encouraged their practices of prostitution.

Every single girl employed was also convicted (except the snitch, of course), several of RICO, some of various felonies, and a few of misdemeanors. In all, they got screwed by getting involved with an agency that used just these sort of fantasy tactics you guys describe.

I wasn't asked to have sex when I first worked for an agency, and the idea of a farm team is appaling too.  Believe me women hate it, but it happens and they cannot voice their opinions (especially if they are young). We're not a football team. Professional athletes get more respect and better pay. :)

Ciara

I guess if you're in an incall house situation, it might be the norm, especially if you worked at the Bunny Ranch in Nevada, but it would only take one or two clients anyway before a lady got fired if she was bad. I'm so glad that I don't belong to any one man, or to a pimp, or give discounts to have men try me out. Thank goodness I'm not desperate for money.  :)

Hugs,
Ciara

I'm working on an internship for the summer for school. I'm in the running for one in NY, but who knows if I get it. I'm looking in LA, NY and abroad. If I come to NY you'll be the first person I contact. ;)
