Are you not then using a valuable source of information but not contributing to it (other than by financing it)?
If not reviewing is for security/anonymity reasons, I guess I understand. If not reviewing is because the gal already has twenty reviews, also understood; or if gal requests not to be reviewed; or if you're just lazy that week.

But in general, what are your reasons for you ter members who see providers but submit "no reviews" or "rarely submit?" Help me understand. There are certainly times when I wish there were more information out there--perhaps you could be saving us from something. Peace.

Thanks for raising the topic.  I was asking myself for the same question.

Although I am using an alias in the discussion board, I do submit more than a dozen reviews in the last few months.  About 1/2 of them are on providers with less than 4 reviews.  2 or 3 of them are new providers with no prior reviews.

I noticed that for TER, LA & SF have the most reviewed posted on a weekly basis.  While in the east coast, DC or Chicago (I guess that is where you are), I guess there are fewer TER members.  TBD was a stronghold.  Fewer members = fewer reviews.

Right now, the business in LA is very slow.  Just today, I was told by a provider friend of mine who worked for a popular agency in LA that there is hardly any work last week.  She was told by the owner that the collapse in the stock market has a lot to do with it.

I have also read in previous reviews that people don't want to share their info on a new provider because they don't want to drive up the price or reduce the availability or service quality of that provider.  IMHO, if that is the case, it sucks.

I submitted two reviews that were not accepted by TER because the provider does not have a website (she is presently developing one though).  Basis research shows that there are some damn great providers out there without websites.  I am sorry that I cannot continue to write as I am laughing my ass off from watching the Robin Williams HBO live special from NYC.

After trying to submit more reviews and getting the response that I was not graphic enough, I decided to stop entirely.

I feel somethings should remain private.  Besides, graphic details may lead to the need of adding the caveat of YMMV.  I have been told by some of the ladies known to the boards that I get away with things most don't and have been asked not to share these at times.

I will offer my opinions on the relevant boards when I spend time with one of the wonderful ladies but will avoid reviews unless specifically requested to write a new one.

So basically, the reason my reviews stopped is negative feedback from the staff.  I wasn't willing to meet their graphic criteria.

Pretty much the same story I have.

I supplied 3 myself. Apparently I wasn't 'investigative' enough either.

My personal review policy is this--

* No review, definitely post one
* Only one page of reviews, definitely post one
* Two or more pages of reviews, post only if something dramatically different happened

Great survey question and discussion topic, by the way.

The posting of reviews has been a hot topic on these discussion boards almost since the inception of TER.  Many of the ladies have objected to the graphic nature of the reviews and many of the men have tried to submit less graphic reviews only to have them rejected by TER.  In some cases the men submitted these less graphic reviews in order to not offend the ladies and in other cases simply because they did not feel it was appropriate to write such graphic reviews.  Not having reviews probably does not hurt some of the more established ladies but it does tend to hurt the new ladies trying to get established in the business. If you do a search on the National or Los Angeles board I am sure you will find previous discussions on this topic.

The first 2 times I posted reviews, I was told to trim the non-essential descriptions and provided more concrete and graphic detail.  After I read more reviews from others, my next dozen reviews sailed through.  I believe what TER staff wants is a good percentage of juicy stuff with respect to the length of the article.  My first 2 reviews are way long on moods, feelings, euphemisms and short on definitive, simple graphic terms.

I have gotten a few additional benefits from some providers because I had given them generous tips or got them in a good mood.  I just referred to them subtlely in my reviews or just stated that I got some specials which I am not going to detail.  I believe CBJ, BBBJ, etc are graphic enough to satisfy TER staff.

I understand the reluctance of some gentlemen to include graphic details in reviews.  However, consider that you got the info on ladies because of someone else's willing to get dirty and graphically describe what happened, please try to provide reviews to benefit the entire TER community.

Although it took me more than 45 minutes to compose an accurate review, I am willing to spend the time and provide the info because I personally have benefitted so much from other's review.  I have met a few wonderful ladies because someone wrote the first review on them.  The latest example is Asiankid's review on Kristy of MontrealGirlFiends.

Thanks Asiankid.

You admit that it took 45 minutes to finally craft a decent review. Sorry, but there's no way, as much as I believe in helping out 'our Team', I'm going to take that long to do a review. Not even 20.

Maybe the Staff needs to consider full and lite reviews.

minutes to do a review.  I think you can be brief enough to get the review down, citing the essentials we all want to know about (DATY, BJ, CG, Doggie, and Wish)in about 10-15 minutes.  Figuring that a review saves you $8 on membership, that's worth $32-$48 per hour and it sure helps alot of us guys out.

I notice if my review has any negative content at all, it gets rejected.  If I say a gal is nice, but has extra cellulite, zap.

I have noticed that positive reviews are usually accepted quickly.  To me, that takes the veracity out of the reviews.  No reason to submit or pay to see details when the results are driven towards mostly positive reviews.

I find it a waste of my time to submit honest, forthright reviews only to have them rejected for not being glowing.

Oh well.

I would hope not.  Check out mine.  I've been very honest and they haven't changed a word. A lot of my reviews are done to warn people about providers to watch out for. Hence, not many rave reviews, but I think that's probably because you want to keep best-kept secrets to yourself.
