If that was a response to Fisher I don't think that was his claim.
I suspect most here will question or ignore reviewer who only give 9s and 10s for all providers they see. But that is just part of the approach -- we look for what filters we apply when researching since the reviews are largely unverified data we're relying on. It's about where you want to put your effort to come to some decision on seeing someone or not.
That verification problem is why I tend to take all reviews with a grain of salt until I have seen some of the women the other reviewer has seen and reviewed. Now I have a good baseline for assessing future reviews from that person.
I would like to share how I try to sort through fake reviews and find out how others might be doing the same . My best method is to click on each reviewer before I read his review. If he has limited history and all the reviews he has every written are 9 or 10s I wont waste my time reading it.
I really wonder about the reviewers who information is unavailable a few days after the review was written ?? WTF
is that TER ? Most time when you see this all of reviewers for this provider will be recent, deleted or unavailable.
Looking for input on how you deal with this.
rather than out-right reject the reviewer because he gave some high marks, I would instead see if his grades are departures from what most of the other reviewers gave. After all, you can't penalize a guy because he did his research and found good gals that way.
The time and money we spend for a good experience is well worth the time and effort to go through all the information that TER provides.
Don't be a "sperm" of the moment client.
experience of your own reviewing, you will learn the nuances of how to spot fakes. Most fakes are discovered in the details, not the scores. 9's and 10's mean different things from different reviewers. For instance, when I give scores, a 10 is only given to providers who are within the top 10% of all providers I have seen, and I have seen more than a few. There are others that have only give one 10, because are mistakenly taken the TER definition of "Once in a Lifetime" literally. If you take it literally, then you cannot ever give a 10, because you have to allow that a girl you see AFTER you have given your only 10, will be better than the one you gave a 10 to, so what do you do then in order to maintain some integrity in your own scoring? The review format will not let you change scores down the road on reviews you have already written.
Score interpretation can only be used to put the narrative in context. If you use the score as a filter, and don't read the narrative, you will end up missing some top tier girls and sessioning with some you will wish you hadn't. One man's 7 can be another man's 10. Read the whole review.
When a provider's reviews go missing, there can be a number of different causes, and fakes are in the minority, so you should avoid making sweeping generalizations that are not based on much real personal experience.
I realize YOU weren't agreeing with the limited definition of "once in a lifetime," but here's what TER actually says in its "Submit a Review" guidelines:
"In order to keep our overall performance ratings consistent, we set up the following system: An escort provider is only eligible to earn up to a 7, unless she performs one or some of the following during a session: Kisses With Tongue, Bare-Back Blow Job, Really Bi, Anal Sex, or More than One Guy. For each of these services that are performed, her potential max score is raised by one point, with 10 as an absolute maximum. Remember, it’s your review; within these guidelines you still get to decide what her score should be. You do not have to give her the ‘extra point’."
NO WHERE does it say or suggest you can only give one 10. I never took it literally anyway. I rarely gave 10s but would do so if she was as good as anyone I'd ever seen in every department. I also gave one to a gal who barely earned a 7 in the looks department (and I was being kind.) But she was so over-the-top kinky she had me doing things I'd never done before. So in that sense she really was "Once in a lifetime." And I probably gave a 10 to at least one gal who took on me and a buddy at the same time. You'd be surprised at how many girls have never done this, but it's on their fuck-it list.
from Newbies and there have been numerous posts on multiple boards over the years from reviewers that have said they don't give 10's because Once in a Lifetime means ONCE in a lifetime. Although TER doesn't say it, there have been many members who have CONSTRUED Once in a Lifetime to mean just that. I agree with everything you said. I'm just the messenger based on what I have read on the subject over the years, both publicly and by PM. Many veterans have had the same experiences as you and me when it comes to looks and services. They are two different scores, but many reviewers think they should be the same.
It was good that you posted the TER policy for those that don't know. TER has upward limitations on the scores you can give, but not downward limitations. In other words, If all you got was CFS, the max you can give is a 7, but if it was terrible, there was no prohibition against giving a 2 or 3. This is exactly why TER's goal of keeping performance ratings consistent is more difficult than it sounds. There are many variables that go into scoring and the TER guidelines only success in creating consistency at the top end, not the middle or the bottom end of the scoring range. There can be many different variations from reviewer to reviewer. Surely, you don't disagree with this statement. If you do, I will keep calling you Surely. Lol

you'll see I never accused CDL of believing that. I actually said: "I realize YOU weren't agreeing with the limited definition of "once in a lifetime,"
So everyone here agrees that a new member with a year or two of reviews can see two providers every month for 24 months and hit solid 9 and 10s straight ??? I sure wish I could see ( 48 ) 9 to 10 providers in a row for two years straight.
I find this doubtful especially after the last poster explained what is required to hit these kind of numbers.
If that was a response to Fisher I don't think that was his claim.

That pattern speaks for itself, but sometimes it can be a legitimate pattern. Think of free vip days as incentive. Someone can see a lot of escorts more than two a month, but only cares to do two reviews and get the vip and then just too lazy to do other reviews.
It is unlikely but possible. If we're purely looking at fake reviews by vip members with purpose of getting vip, there are more signs.
As cdl mentioned, details or lack of, is usually a strong tell. Most of the time it will be a generic review. More advanced fakers might take info from other reviews of same provider and construct a believable story, but most of the time theyre not terribly advanced.
You can probe them by asking some specific question about a provider via pm. I like to ask tattoo questions. But I first make sure specific tats are not mentioned in any review.
liberal scorer. That's why reading the content is important. Your hypothesis was that high scores equal fake reviews. A fake review is only fake if the reviewer did not see the provider at all. If he did see her, then the review is his own account of what happened during the session, regardless of whether the score is high or low. Tell us again HOW you are able to tell fake reviews from the scores a reviewer gives. In my experience, I have discovered just as many fakes from reviewers giving low scores as giving high scores. If there is something I'm missing, I would be grateful to hear of a solid approach to discovering fakes merely from high scores.
No way to know, based on scoring only, whether a review is fake or not. If you’re not reading the content, you just don’t know.
I think you can lump fake reviews into three broad classes. The first class is booster reviews -- these could be posted by the escort herself, her manager/pimp or fanboy that's never seen her. The second class is revenge/competitor/stalker review. They may or may not have seen the escort, but the review is not an accurate account of that meeting but rather an attempt to damage her reputation. The third class is the VIP points seeker. This person is just trying to get free VIP points on TER.
.
Typically the first class is high scores and praise. The second class is low scores and accusations. And the third class is probably going to try to blend in and sound like the other reviews.
.
I think it is too hard to tell if any one review is real or fake. All I can think of is to go with the average of many reviews.
The third part is almost always high scores and the provider chosen is one where - like you've said - they can blend in. Basically these guys only care if the review goes through, they don't want people to read that review much and have attention to that review. So most of these end up very, very generic.
Btw, I'm not an old man just like the name. I rarely post except in case of making a real, honest review of a subpar woman who is being spoken of as a goddess. Or of an excellent performer who is little known. It's dangerous because the girl still has your cell number which is not hard to turn into a name. Then you're being texted by an irate escort or demented fanboy. Happened to me a few weeks ago just for writing a review that the provider was mediocre to good.
There are some appalling escorts around nyc but I'm afraid to comment against their sterling reviews. One highly reviewed provider suggests you watch a vid of her rimming and being analized by an very unattractive guy. At the same time shes barely providing a HJ and acting like anything more would be immoral. She also has a torso like rubber item that she suggests you use as a sex doll. Could not get out of there quick enough. Other reviews are 8s and 9s. Obviously did not review
One thing I do like is where a girl is rated 9 or 10 in looks but low in service. Often means the reviewer couldn't stand the heat and that the girl is a hidden gem. Could also mean shes on drugs though
I did have someone put a fake review of me up and it said my boobs were fake (they are all mine) and that we met in a restaurant and i did things to him under the table. I don't think i am suffering from a head injury but i don't remember doing anything in a restaurant other than eating.
Though when i was a teenager and worked at a hardware store . That's another story
what was your favorite diameter of hose? Lol
I agree with the people above who says scores aren't a good indicator of whether a review is fake. There are numerous other reasons a person may give out lots of 9s and 10s.
Reading the details helps me spot fake reviews.
A common example is when the first review of a provider says the girl looks exactly like her photos, yet every review after that says the photos are fake and she looks nothing like them. I suspect the first review was made the provider herself or an associate to promote her. Or the first review was written by someone seeking VIP points and they intentionally picked a girl who had no reviews yet.
