With the holidays just around the corner, I was wondering if it is easier or harder to get away to play during the holidays???

I understand that you can tell them you need to go "shopping" without being questioned much easier during the holidays. So do you find it is easier or do they expect you to be around "home" more during this time?

I would no more miss my FBSM visit than my significant other would miss her trip to the beauty parlor

problem is that it requires that I get all my shopping done, faster than normal, on 'my' time, etc.. . so that I can then use my announced shopping time, 'shopping' for other things.

Harder for me.  I don't play in my hometown but rather when I travel for work.  Work is slow over the holidays so therefore my opportunities are almost nil.

I'm on a budget so generally I don't hobby around the holidays because my  money is used for Christmas.  I'm single, so getting away isn't the issue, it's the financial part of it for me.
