The current administration had passed a regulation requiring any organization receiving Federal funds to do work to decrease the incidence of sexually transmitted disease must denounce prostitution.  The Supreme Court has declared that regulation unconstitutional on free speech grounds.  The government had argued that prostitution increased the spread of disease, but the Supreme Court dismissed this argument while noting the ample data that where prostitution had been decriminalized, the incidence pf STDs was lower than where it is a crime

When I make a deposit at my bank, there won't be any more free condoms?

I'm guessing the Catholic church, was the biggest opponent to this bill.

...or is your grammar, bad as mine doc?

(Week end on call so maybe I was unclear) It was a regulation requiring denouncing prostitution and it was over turned by the court.  I would guess the regulation was popular with the regulation and is not happy about the decision.
My bank never gave me anyting of value like yours does.

It's funny because this whole ordeal started from men only wanting women for procreation. Being in attractive to the mother of their children I imagine the thrill of a new and exciting women started this trend. I find the statement to have limited truth because there are way more women outside industry having way more unprotected casual sex with so called partners they trust. Spread of std is due to a lack of education and respect for yourself. And it's so ironic how the bush administration was working so diligently to push the fact the condoms are helping to spread stds but now it's prostitution. I guess if we eliminate prostitution that will end stds because they only exist in the adult industry lol I needed a good laugh!

I had found what you were talking about.

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2013/06/20/supreme-court-high-strikes-down-anti-prostitution-pledge/

The funding was for "private" aids charities who receive federal funding ("why do they exist?" would be my question). I was under the impression, all organizations who receive fed funding, would have to promote STD prevention, while denouncing prostitution.

The Obama admin, was pandering to the democratic base, using this legislation.

I think that's why it was struck down, I believe your reasoning to be true as well.

countries want to be able to export their citizens for their own profit.

Lets just allow 10,000 Miss Udo's in our country. Legitimate providers like yourself will find that business will take a turn for the worse.

PS: Not that you are busy now or anything  :)

Where do you think the influx would come from? Certainly not from Canada.

You were talking about the U.N. Canada and the USA are not the only members.
We don't need to model shit after Canada.

As far as bumping my head, I sometimes have to use a wrench to clobber myself in the head to understand some of the gibberish that gets posted on this board.

Maybe you need that tin foil hat after all.

You found the horsey and tin foil hat all in one.

I also found a horsey for you. You won't have to worry about breaking it's back either.

Obviously the urban dictionary is not regular reading material for me.
If being dumbed down gets you horizontal and food to eat then enjoy your reading material.

By the way. That is a cute little farm house that you rent up there.

but seriously most gals protect themselves. So not as much aids per one of us versus the free fucking gals in the civvie world.

My take? None of anyone's business unless some one is getting ripped off. I am not sure I want it legal, because I would quit as the prices drop... go back to computer programming. Ugh, Perhaps have some protection where ripoffs (thieves) are held accountable... and rapists (those who fuck and grab the money as they run naked out the door). Be great if we ALL had to be tested though. You guys worry if we get tested, well it should be a tit for tat.

Biggest thing for me, is in our community (TER/P411 etc) leave us the hell alone if we are doing our promises (guys and girls).

Now the lose cannons that are stuck in crazy crap, then whatever. Learn your lesson and move on. Plenty of great gals who do as promised.

What better way to reduce the effectiveness of HIV/AIDS education programs than to force them to forego federal funding, or take an "anti-prostitution pledge".

In practice, all that does is result in the organization ignoring sex workers in their outreach, or create an environment so hostile to sex workers that they may be reluctant to seek assistance.

(Minor point of correction....this policy is a legacy of the previous administration. But, the current one has continued to support it. Good riddance no matter who thunk it up

Most people do not realize that decriminalization does not exactly mean legalization. Nevada's brothel's are decriminalized which leaves it to up to the local counties to make the rules which vary greatly. And, those rules can be easily changed.
