That's how I feel (re. Secrecy - previous post as I'm writing).

I am intrigued about the personal emails from people who have found appointment setters to be actually a good thing. I didn't expect that.

I'm sure I'm not alone as an escort in being fed up of getting very frequent emails from people who call themselves 'appointment setters' - 'Sasha' is the main offender to date. She sends me and others countless repetitive emails soliciting work. No way would I trust someone else to do the non-meeting part of my business.

Gentlemen, I wonder how aware you are of such ladies - and are you actually dealing with them?

I can't be the only one annoyed and fed up of dealing with them, not trusting them... I know I'm not.

But I certainly did not locate her through blanket email marketing.

In order to juggle my personal and professional lives I very much needed some help. Phones weren't answered and emails missed or follow ups failed on. So I sought out an assistant.

The lady I found is perfect for me. She is a well respected lady in this industry with a history of excellent professionalism. She handles all my screening and scheduling for me which alleviated my stress immensely. I trust her implicitly with both my best interest and the confidentiality of my clients. Another aspect, I haven't had to taint my experience with my client with the formalities of setting a date. I'm certainly aware of them (I see all communications), but I wasn't party to it so it keeps the business aspect out of our date. It's been four months now and I absolutely love having an assistant!

someone awhile back posted to see if there was an interest in her services. I don't think she was well received.

Former provider in DC area moved into set-up & phone answering work after she retired.  Couple women I already had seen hired her and all went well.  She was efficient and easier to reach.  I never saw anyone the first time through her so I don't know how that would have gone.

she was such a charmer on the phone, I wanted to meet her too  ;-)

I agree. I keep receiving the same emails.  If someone wants an assistant, they will find a good one through word of mouth and referral. That is how I found mine!

I have a wonderful assistant who helps me when I tour. My clients like the fact I have a live person they can speak with on the phone and who handles all the details so that I can concentrate on the most important details!

would prefer dealing directly with the Provider. I always enjoy the email exchanges that contain enough banter that I kinda feel like I know someone before our rendezvous. However , I have come to appreciate the bookers for 3 or 4 of my faves. Though I know I will never meet them I do begin to consider them friendly hobbyist acquaintances.   I have come to appreciate and respect the way they take care of their [ and mine] lady.

The assistant seemed to be very professional, and everything went smoothly, but there was something missing. I never got to talk to, or interact with the lady I was going to see until the door opened. It was a nice evening, but I would still rather have at least some contact with the actual person.

I only deal with independent providers, and if they have a personal assistant that makes them an Agency, so I do not deal with them.  Remember what can be said about how many people it takes to keep a secret.
