Thoughts on my idea

I would love to get the opinions of both ladies and the gents. I have this idea. I am going to start a blog that is like "An inside look at the life of an escort." In which I tell some of the interesting stories of situations that I've been in, and let some of my friends contribute, too. The blog will be a monthly paid membership kind of thing. Eventually, I would like to transfer it to a book. Is this something that you think you would read? If you'd like to let me know your opinion privately, feel free to pm or email me.

For myself it would be a read. I'm a new provider so having knowledge and insight on the business before jumping in head first would have helped me a lot.

charge a membership fee, the content has to be of a quality that would be comparable to other paid print media, and it has to be presented in a grammatically perfect format.  Some ladies here are educated and articulate and I enjoy reading their posts.  Others sound like high school dropouts and I quickly lose interest when they use bad grammar, poor punctuation and have trouble organizing and presenting their thoughts.  I don't mean to imply if it was free, I would read it whether it was good or not, I'm just saying the bar gets raised when you charge money.

Make sure it reads more like "enlightened fiction" than evidence presented in court, please.

The info has to be worth the monthly subscription. To be honest, sites like TER already give a lot of insight to providers...at least on the surface. There isn't much you can't find on here if you look. IMHO, that would be challenging. I live in a big city and have hobbied for a while so I have seen, read, and heard it all...without paying. So what is it that you think that you can offer thats worth a guys buck? Also, the services you offer and the area you are in will play a part. Hobbying has a diverse demographic....will you appeal to enough? For instance, I prefer asian providers. How would your blog appeal to me? Just a thought.

I would pay, if it was quality writing and had interesting nuggets. A question and answer part to it would be really what I would pay for...one-on-one advice, with really honest advice. One of my favorite providers helped me grow as a lover, truly quality advice in a no judgement zone. Maybe a fee basis on answering a question, or webcam, microphone only, pay by the 15 minute conversation, something along those lines.

Anyway, here is a sample subject storyline, something along the lines of "size matters sometimes", but every now and then too big, is well, too big. Here is a writing example/ sample of what I would find interesting, but hot, too...

"I LOL'd as a new client came in and was unexpectedly a bit too well endowed. I grabbed his beautiful bare, but very thick and long cock, and said, "Well, what am I supposed to do with this?" We both laughed, but he was still a paying customer and I wanted to do my best. I mean a baby can come out down there, so I should be able to take it.

I told him we can try, but we need to go slow. I put as much of his cock in my mouth, but I wasn't by any stretch of the imagination - no pun intended - going to be able to take it all-in. So i grasped it between my hands and licked up and down the veins while stroking his hard cock with my hands. I then put his dick between my perk and now growing hard tits and fucked his cock with my breasts while taking the tip in my mouth. He seemed to really enjoy this.

I was truthfully scared of his cock, but I was going to try. Like having a baby, the key is taking it slow. I lubed him up thoroughly and the internal walls of my pussy, and very slowly pressed-in on the lips of my wet pussy, and let it out, pressed-in further - then held it as far in as it could go, and then let it slide out. It was actually a turn-on, granted it did hurt, but in a good way." I did warn him, I'm only built so deep and it would hurt if he was pounding up against the cervix.

I like all sorts of sizes of cocks, and sometimes you just want to get fucked with a big one, but not all the time - it hurts. Guys worry about the size of their cocks, but look at lesbians - they don't have cocks and have a perfectly enjoyable time."

Just my 02 cents on the subject.  Done' right, i think there is a space for it and can be lucrative.  Look at all the questions we get on this board, and often repetitive. New people to the hobby all the time, and old timers willing to learn.

The only issue I see is how to get you payment anonymously.

Ms. Jamie,
Personally, I would read and provide inputs to your blog...NOT if it was a pay site.  For me, if I had to pay to read your blog, as it was previously noted, it must be of a quality that is exceptionally.  Additionally, I avoid paying for any hobby related items.  How will payment for your blog be paid?  Credit card?  It will create an electronic trail that I an NOT willing to create.  I attempt to minimize my hobby footprint and paying for a blog, even an exceptional one is something I will not do.
Paranoid?  Probably, but it keeps me safe.
Good luck!

Like this where people ask questions, tell stories about being an escort, john, booker, etc. some assuredly bs but some on the level.

There is also literotica for erotic stories, many about escorts.

If you could top these free reads, you may be able to get paid members. Having friends, guest writers, different angles would help. May want to look at a free partial blog to get people hooked and go big for the e-book or subscription later.

Just my 2 cents. Good luck turning your ideas into reality!!

Exactly, the paper trail is the issue. I don't mind paying for things, people should be paid for their quality work.

But that's really not how the market works.  There is a lot of erudite writing out there that no one ever reads, let alone pays for.  There is a lot of crap out there that people rush to pay to read.

is to find enough suckers born every other second and get them to be subscribe. There are plenty of them out there so you should not have any problems finding a critical mass of subscribers.

If you write really well, I might pay to read it.   I'll need to get some free samples first, of course.

Writing could be the most difficult job to do well.   What are your bonafides that would allow you to do so?    It takes a lot more than just the desire.   Even excellent writers are often overlooked, or have to wander in the wilderness for years until they are finally given an audience, sadly often after they expire.

I don't want to be a Captain-bring-down, but think hard about this before you invest too much time and effort into it.  Good writing is rare, and deservedly so.

Doubt I would pay to subscribe. However, I think something along those lines, if done well, could be an effective marketing tool. Ava St. Claire has an advice blog that is thoughtful and often very funny. I found howtobeanescort.net to be really informative; it is written by a retired escort. In conjunction with Twitter you might increase your visibility and business but I would think the time and effort would be substantial.
