Hi, I recently tried to make an appointment with a provider near me. She asked my handle in TER as a pre-screen step. She then rejected me saying I was to critical of other providers. Her actual words used were "Your reviews are callous in my opinion, and sound more like a person who likes to generally piss, moan, and complain. No thanks!"
Anyway, I understand being rejected but the attack kind of hurt my feelings. I try and be honest and explicit in my reviews. Anyway, can someone read my reviews and comment on whether they feel this is accurate or is she just not wanting anyone to give her a bad review. I will refrain from naming her because I am sure she doesn't want anything said about her from me. She did refer to one of my reviews as an example and I am guessing that she might be friends with the person I reviewed.
Your reviews range from the highly appreciative to the condemnatory, but I see no snideness or vituperation, just honest factual reporting and your scores are generally in line with other reviewers.
Providers may be doing themselves and others a disservice by insising on a litmus test for reviewers before see them.
It just makes it more likely that honest reviews will become a victem and that makes it harder for the good providers to stand out.
I think that you know the answer to your question. In all probability, this provider is linked in some way to the reviewee in the review she mentioned. If the lady has declined a date, you have no choice, except to move on.
As for your reviews. The general numbers are actually higher than I usually give... maybe your experiences just run better than mine. In the details, you often do have some picky detail but that's ok as long as it's truthful. We all know that individual dates vary with the individuals. Even with some slight critical comment, the reviews are still strongly positive.
You have only given 2 low scores over several years & even those reviews still seem fair explanation & acknoledged what ever did occur & did not trash the provider. I'm assuming the lady did not mention one of these...
