A nuru massage does not have an established nuru massage technique and every practitioner will treat it like art and come up with her own translation to what a Nuru massage entitles.  The Nuru Massage must use the Nuru Massage gel and not body oil.  However, every practitioner will mix the Nuru Gel differently.  I happen to craft my Nuru Gel uniquely to me to handle the way I  massage,  but it is still Nuru and it is extremely thick and luxurious.
