Do you use your laptop/pc to view sites more or do you use your mobile device most?

I'm putting a site up for mobile clients and am curious how much mobile use really is.

Thanks, (Also pm's welcome for those who lurk more)

I do have a laptop, that I can keep out of reach of prying eyes, so I use that.

Being among the technologically challenged, I don't own a mobile device, and probably never will. Just about the time I figure out 30% of what you can do with it, it will be obsolete, and I'll be right back where I started.

All that texting nonsense just gives you carpal tunnel syndrome anyway.

I'd rather get a bad case of "Hobbyist's Tongue". Although my training regimen has been keeping me injury-free recently.

that wipes the data on the third failed password attempt.

I use these to store proprietary inforamtion when traveling as well, since laptops are routinely "inspected" when traveling across borders these days....

Don't want to use work network at the office, so use my mobile (secure, self wipes if passwords failed after 8 tries, and its in my name, bill/account is in my name, and federal privacy law applies) - plus it has 3G internet and if I want to I can disconnect my laptop from the work network, use a cord to plug it into my phone and use my phone data plan to access the internet without leaving traces on the work network.  I'm sure, as is true for anything, that if the government wanted to spend a zillion dollars they could trace it, but then again, I'm just a working guy, not Elliot Spitzer, and thus too small a fish to be on interest.

He's kidding.  It's almost like to wife saying she has a headache syndrome.

Most of my attempts to do hobby surfing on my mobile have resulted in crashes. The usual causes are overly complex or poorly written pages. Hence, I quit doing hobby surfing on my mobile. So, say that you decide to create a mobile-friendly site. Would I try it? Sure. The problem is, how will I find it on my mobile? If you post links to your mobile-friendly site on mobile-unfriendly sites, I am not going to see it on my mobile. If I come across a link while surfing with my notebook, I will take a look on my notebook. Just a thought.
