Hello All,

Not a frequent poster --  the rare posts I put up are usually on the NY board.
But a long time member and reviewer.

Even though I have 7 weeks left on my membership, just want to say thanks to the great TER staff and the service they have provided for us over the years. And thanks to all the great members here as well. This was
a fantastic community for us "hobbyists" (believe it or not, this is first time time I am using this word) and "providers" (don't use this word often either) alike.

These are sad times for anyone who appreciates free speech and individual liberty.

Anyway, thanks to all and best wishes.
I'll be checking in until my 7 weeks are up, so feel free to PM if you like.
Take care.
- Slim.

Just came back last year and TER has been wonderful to me over the years.

Hope things get better.

I came here for reviews and ads and now I get neither.  I've found alternatives to TER and it's time to move on.

TER had a good run....

I won't renew my VIP but I will keep checking in reading and posting if pertinent. I'm thinking as others figure it out they'll slowly return and it'll be a little more active around here though you are correct the main use of this site is dried up for the present.

TER PM is the ONLY place I feel comfortable discussing my hobby activities with other hobbyists and providers.  The cost for a year is less than I typically pay for a one-hour session, and if continuing PM's with guys in my local area can keep me from one bad experience in the course of a year, the VIP pays for itself.  Anything ELSE I learn during the same year is a free bonus.

Posting on the boards, trying to keep things going. I have to say that right now TER is not making it easy for the ladies here at all. Starting with taking down the ad boards, which did me a world of good, particularly when visiting another  state. Now they are hyper sensitive about what ladies are saying in their posts, and calling some ads instead of actually trying the help the ladies out a bit. I mean they did away with all ads boards in the US for heaven's sake. If they want ladies to stick around and make an effort, making things even more difficult for us to get any promotion isn't the way to go IMO.

I've always loved TER even when they made changes I didn't like, but now...I'm getting the feeling they are being harder than ever. Ladies are having to go elsewhere, even if they don't want to just to survive! Same thing with the gentlemen here. Because MANY ladies don't have their reviews anymore, neither do the guys! It's become harder to verify gentlemen IMO because I can't see most of the reviews a gentleman has posted over the years.

And even now, most people out there still have no idea they can access the site with a VPN set outside of the US. We all have to try and get people back on the boards! I honestly have never done "this" without TER so it SUX for me. This place was hands down THE best community of like minded individuals in the adult biz. TER is been around for almost 20 years, and to see it crippled to this extent is frankly hard to watch.

But I'm still here as I have been since 2005.Hoping things will get better, but being very concerned it won't.

I'm sure TER lawyers are sorting out what they can and cannot allow.  I think they are just being safe/conservative in the meanwhile.  Look for other resources to fill the gaps temporarily.  New entrepeneurs  will arise.  I am lucky that I have a lot of repeat girls to call and had a long "to see" list before SESTA happened.  It takes effort, but emailing girls works just fine.

SESTA has not stopped me, just made things more work.  Switter has introduced me to women I never would have looked at before.  I am currently planning a trip to Vegas to meet the love of my life...see link.  This is something I never would have done pre-SESTA.

Tell me about it... i watch my VIP days drop one by one..others have said there is no ability to purchase VIP  once its gone... so in the interim i haunt Switter and P411 setting up connections that i trust.. but trying not to waste anyones time.. i actually remember that i was supposed to see you about 4 years ago in Boston, but an unexpected business trip  forced me to cancel...

TER "Notice" to US users and go to the FAQ section, they mention payment methods that still work.  You're welcome.

And have let you know when on several occasions. I'll be back either late summer or early fall. Maybe THIS time we'll make a romantic connection?

And personally, I think TER made a knee jerk reaction from the get go. And I'm not alone in this feeling. As I said I'm trying to hang in there with TER. As a community we really need to let those not here know they can get back on TER. Plus I see ladies here who still haven't taken the steps to get their reviews back up.

Sometimes  wonder if they know they can get their profiles back up at all. I'm doing what I can to help get more people back on the boards. How about you?

Always have. But saying TER made a "knee jerk reaction" is well above your pay grade.

I know many women are struggling since their decision, but you have to remember it is their ass on the line here and someone from their organization could be looking at a lengthy jail term if the Feds were to move on them.

I am sure that they spent countless hours discussing this issue with their attorneys and came away from those talks thinking they really didn't have another viable option, at least for now.

Still love you. :)

You've enlightened me a bit.

To me their reaction came even before the bills was signed and once BP came down, boom the chain reaction started. It's all a blur to me to be honest!  Supposedly TER is based out of The Netherlands, or at least that's what they acted like when the powers at be took over.

Now there are rumors that there are some still in the US so who knows? I know about the Cloud Act and what that means. However why not change from a dot com to something else? Right now, on this thread, people are saying when their VIP runs out they are not renewing. And this thread is only a small sample of the members. So something has got to give at some point or an institution that has been here since 1999 will be no more.

I'm not anti TER at all. I'd hate for it to completely go away.

The law stated it would be retroactive. Though that won’t fly. Yes they started early considering it takes 3 months to a year for the law to be disseminated amounts all agencies before its used.

And yes, TER has offices in LA apparently. They need to divest interests and transfer ownership to someone who is not a US citizen, even if they don’t live in the US now.

It’s sad to see it so quiet. Many people have not requested to be unmoderated. Im unmoderated except on the P&R board, everyone is. I posted almost 4hrs ago and it’s still not active.

and what is going on now has 10 fold more consequences. TER is worth nothing though without it's US followers and reviews. I know other sites are selling lock stock and barrel to out of country owners. All the reviews and member info are here and definitely of value even if just sold as a commodity to a new owner. With a flip of the switch things pretty much could go back to the way they were. Would someone want to take on such a risk , who knows.

Based on the amount of Twitter posts I’ve read in the past 2 weeks that are anti-review, I suspect many know they can get them back but have no intention of restoring them.

They had to put that on TER disclaimer....however I just talked to Staff and we can continue to use the same ways we did to purchase VIP.
So no reason for people to leave TER....and you can still post reviews, just make sure to fill the form with a location outside the US - like Toronto, London....because is 'where' you met that lovely lady wink wink

It obvious you don't understand the legal repercussions.

I;m glad you have taken it upon yourself do what you can to help, even with no one asking you to.

I am doing nothing.  I don't think ladies should be allowed to post on here anyways.  Ads only.  This site is fo men, you ladies start too much drama and complain too much
