Great tip Bob.  I'm going there is a few weeks.

So I've been wanting to visit NYC, especially with a few visiting pornstars coming through, but I live in the DMV which means that I need to have a negative PRC test taken 3 days prior to departure. And then I need to quarantine for 3 days and on the 4th I need take another test. It's just a hassle

For those that travel to NYC or have traveled to NYC, how difficult was it? My usual itinerary is to take the Amtrak up in the afternoon and I usually only stay for 1 night, maybe 2. For those that have traveled to NYC, were checked for paperwork when you arrived?

For the locals, are there checkpoints set up in Penn Station?

I can't imagine putting that much effort into visiting a city that has essentially locked down everything to do that is fun. Fucking pornstars aside of course. lol

Yeah, it's insane. I've already missed out on a few that were on my bucket list. It seriously is a pain in the ass. My usual itinerary for these kinds of trips is seeing the pornstar, seeing a local, and then going to a GFE AMP the morning I leave.

I'm just trying to see if NYC is really following up on these orders.

Of course in other places like Hawaii it's absolutely mandatory.

I too would be interested in which places are making these "self quarantines" are voluntary and which ones are mandatory

Or if it's based off of the honor system. Like for NYC, it's 3 days, but I would only be there for 2... 3 at the most.

my Kgirlfriend asking whether the date we planned for Saturday was still on, because she just heard there was another lockdown going into effect.  I just told her we are still on because I'm an "essential services" provider.

Other than joining a posse to follow the dogs into the woods to track down and shoot a killer, or giving some business to a Kgirl who's having a slow week, I'm not much for volunteering for things.  Hell, I'm not much for following mandatory things either.  Newsom can go fuck himself.  LOL

Of course your fan club will probably insist that all your other posts sucked, but then again they won't agree with this one either.

Now PLEASE tell your Newsome loving friends in CA to PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE stay there where they belong, no way in hell are is Texas ever going to get the funding for the wall we so desperately need, the one on our WESTERN border that is. lol

CDL just bought a cheap round trip to ATL so that he could attend the upcoming Trump rallies.  He's defiant about wearing a mask (being thrown out of a WalMart on Black Friday) and he wants an injection of Trump energy in person from a super spreader.

it was sooooo easy.

I split my time between the DMV and Manhattan and there wasn’t much of a difference hopping off from the train before lockdown and after Phase four.

Flying into JFK for upstate, yes I was handed papers and required to provide a number for contact tracing. If you were to drive, you would not have been handed anything.

But it’s good to have a negative test just in case hotel front desk persons or a police officer get nosey (as they always are 😝).

I had no issues booking hotel stays. Was just at Mark Hotel recently... they offered no Turn down service but they were happy to hold my things which was rare (other hotels 4 stars wouldn’t keep anything, no bell hops).

My main concern was making sure no one asked questions if I was inviting another friend over. It was hard to tell which hotels required guest sign ins unless I went and stayed. UN Midtown, no. Mark 5th Ave, no. Broadway (Hilton I think, not so snazzy hotel), yes. No one asked for tracking or quarantining info except the last hotel.

I’m still dealing with payment issues for VIP so I cannot answer private DMs at the moment! :(

The problem is where do you stay? Unless you have a friend or stay across the river, you won't be able to book a hotel or Airbnb. I fear the lockdown will continue for several months in some form or fashion after super spreader events like Thanksgiving and then Christmas.

where to stay for this reason I cancelled my PA visit for this month. It would have been great to visit NYC/NJ as well but not in the current climate.

I have visitors coming from NJ and CT - none gets stopped or even asked questions.
People have many reasons to come to the city....and is hard to stop and check everybody.
I think is just to discourage people from coming here.

...submissive sheep meekly obey LOL!

I agree after doing a lil more research myself. I have a few friends that moved out but still go in & out thru the tunnels wkly keeping me posted. It's basically hit or miss being stopped, changes daily. There's absolutely no way to stop all traffic unless you completely shut the city down. I'm trying first time next wk myself🤞I miss it

Use the bridges, not the tunnels..  The bridges are used for interstate trucking, it is very difficult to stop traffic there.
Trucks are less likely to use the tunnels and get dumped into the Manhattan streets, plus the larger ones don't fit in the
tunnel.  Thus they only check at the tunnels.
