Maybe amongst those regularily in the hobby who are always after this. The reality is that the large majority of clients who providers are seeing are not goi g to be part of it . These are many of the same ones that are sending downpayment, Gigi g up personal info, and walking into LE stings.

This is a hard no. Even providers that offer BBFS and require tests to do so, know requiring tests for protected sex would kill their business. Those who don’t offer BBFS know this as well. As long as a client has to go to a doctor or clinic, this hurdle would kill business.
That said, we’re not far away from at home tests being reliable and more of a thing. They use them in other countries and I have heard of providers using them for BBFS. We have them here too but I haven’t heard of them being a thing. If these become more common in the US, it can both impact an increase in providers willing to offer BBFS as long as a client will use the at home tests being reliable before their session. And, there likely would be some who do not offer BBFS who still ask clients to use it. I can see less reluctance with an at home test. Not sure exactly why these haven’t caught on in the US yet.

If they’re offering that service, and it’s for a bigger pay day, why not have a few at-home kits and accept them? I have seen this from providers in other countries.

That said, the part I did not know, which you have enlightened me on, is that the ones here need to go to a lab anyway. If that’s the case, it defeats what I was aiming at. I have seen ones in other countries that are instant. If they have to go back to a lab, no point in a provider making them available. But we will likely get to this point soon.

I said on my own that at home rests were available, and questioned why they were not used more often. The part you added, which I have acknowledged, is that they still need to go to a lab. But you seem to want to move the goal post just to start shit. Whether providers who do NOT offer BBFS will stick to their regulars and/or ask for test results, I would say that I highly doubt it.

As someone who doesn't offer this, the only way I'd see myself asking for a test result is if 1) I KNOW that person engages in BBFS with providers/multiple civvies, and 2) that person ALSO gets throat and rectal swabs in addition to the regular blood and urine testing. A blood/urine tests will not show if there's an infection in the throat or anus (both often asymptomatic and can last for years undetected). I would also ask for proof of their current PreP and doxy scripts. That's a lot of info for a guy to produce - in addition to my full screening/deposit protocol - but that's the only way I'd feel safe enough to see someone that openly does BB stuff with others.
