they may be busy or have other issues at the moment. I would wait only a few days after first contact attempt, then try a second time. After a couple more days, its time to move on. After you've tried twice, no point in trying any more.

Response times

As the previous person said, how long has it been?  A lot of times girls are just overwhelmed, or have something else going on and are slow.

I usually do my e-mail daily, but often only once per day - which often easily takes an hour or two. Sometimes I get a 2-3 day lag time.

I missed a date with a great guy I know yesterday because he sent me an e-mail in the morning, and I didn't get to it until like midnight. Now I have to spank him.  

Each provider has her preferences for contact.  Personally I suggest just calling as I will either answer or return a VM within a few hours 99% of the time.  And the telephone, antique relic of a past century is actually a LOT quicker and more efficient for our purposes.

I also don't like texting.  It's way too time consuming and dangerous if driving.

So try the girl again, then I'd say you need to move to plan B - though in Vegas you certainly shouldn't lack for company.
