I`m 71. Been in it 6 months. See 2 girls regularly both early 30`s and very experienced. Luv them. Scared of 20 yo`s. They would probably put me in the ER. Both girls want to fly utr so don`t want me to post reviews hence makes me look super Newbie which I am but don`t like that.

Here's what the survey showed about client/provider ages and time in p4p....

Executive summary: Clients are 48-64, providers are 22-30. Clients stay at this for 1-28 years. Providers have careers that are 1-5 years. Details below.

 
Clients.

Age median is 56 +- 8 years.
Maximum is 71. Minimum is 31.

Time in p4p is 14 years +- 14 years.
Maximum is 48 years. Minimum is 1 year.

Providers.

Age median is 29+- 8 years.
Maximum is 46 years. Minimum is 21 years.

Time in p4p is 5 years +- 4.5 years.
Maximum is 14 years. Minimum is 1 year.

 
I got 7 provider responses and 50 client responses.

----LADIES----!! This would work better if more of you responded. Use your alias!! Nevertheless:

Clients are typically 56 and have been at this for 8 years, although some of you guys are off the charts, seeing the ladies for 3 or 4 DECADES. Wow.

Providers are typically 29 and have been doing this for 4 years. The statistics for providers are not good, with only 7 responses.

Excluding one provider data point that is very different than the other 6, we get average age of 26 +-4 and time in p4p of 3.5 +- 2.25.

Me 56 and her 29 works for me all day long, but I am drawn to providers over 30.  Maybe that's because I'm 57, not 56?

Well technically he didn't since I was ambiguous and didn't provide a solid data point (don't want to give exact age). In my response at the time, I mentioned how there was nobody under 40, let alone 30 yet, and that I fell into the latter category.

Perhaps more data is needed.  My range is usually 30s through 50s with a median probably hovering around late 40s.  I wouldn't mind taking part if you send me the link.

I use to get as many calls from the under 35 crowd as the more refined, when I advertised on BP. I typically do not see under 30 though unless they know how to behave, which seems to be a rarity.

I would say that the vast majority of guys contacting me off of TER and P411 are in the 40 plus category.  

I believe the average age for most guys I see are around 50.  

Seems that at least half the gals that I have noticed posting on various boards on TER are in their late 30s (or older) with over 10 years experience.

Just things that I have noticed. It's hard to survey when everyone doesn't partake.

Yep, totally non-scientific because the respondents were self-selected. I did work with the responses I got and just reported the numbers as best I could represent them.

The biggest problem was the limited number of responses, especially from the ladies!! With only 7 responses, the statistical error will be very large.

In theory, one could do data mining on pee four on provider age, but not time in the biz.

The flaw in that idea is the fact that hookers lie about their age on P 411 and anywhere else you are going to go data mining.

BTW TER has conducted a couple of polls very similar to yours. You can go check the results of their polls if you are interested. Their sample size of course was much larger than yours as the polls ran for weeks and not just a day or two.
