Yeah, I have a lifetime membership too and was grandfathered into the new site.  I asked about my references and was also told that members can no longer see them.  I'm not sure why they made that change.

At least with the new site, the old/outdated provider profiles appear to be a gone.  Although, I also noticed the same thing as you in regards to doing searches for Chicago, as well as Las Vegas.  Not many providers are showing up in my searches.

Sorry, I couldn't help myself. lol

As for the DC board, it seems to be working just fine for me.

Especially those recap threads! :)

I assume you are actually talking about date-check. You might want to actually say "date-check" since DC can mean so many different things.

Montgomery county, Maryland police came out with a press release about in the famous 2009/2010 crackdowns.  The scary thing is that the site was hosted in Montgomery county. Not sure if site owners ever moved it out of Montgomery county, Maryland.

You can find the announcement.  It was item number 3. Other things announced very scary indeed.

DateCheck had 2 websites active (the original and new) and were planning to switch over to their new site once everything was completed.  I just tried accessing their original "dot com" site and I get redirected to their new site (see link below), so that could be what's happening.

I'm getting the new site. It won't let me log in. Grrrrrrrrrrrr ....

You're going to have to contact DateCheck to see if you can still get your account transferred over to the new site before you are able to log in.

Last year when the new site coexisted with the old, they had links and info on both sites on how to get your account transferred.  Although, I no longer see that info on their website.  I had mine transferred when I first saw the notice

I just tried to log into Date-Check and they have my user name but it says I don't have a subscription. Well I paid for a lifetime subscription. And I never received any emails telling me I needed to move my account. My last email from them was the one acknowleding my lifestime membership.

The only way to contact them is a chat box that doesn't have anyone monitoring it - no email.

I really don't like having my money stolen - I hope they are going to do the right thing

Chatted with a customer service agent at Date-Check this morning and was advised that the switch over deadline for the new site has expired.  They will manually transfer my info for a processing fee of $39.00, not sure it is worth the hassle?

Based on what I've seen so far, the old website was way, way better than the new site.  You cannot see your references on the new site.  Unless I'm doing something wrong, right now there are only 20 providers that come up in the Chicago area.  I had a lifetime membership from the old site that I transferred, but I certainly would not pay for a new membership unless the site really improves.

I also can't log-on.  Lifetime member.  Mostly been using 411, but sucks that they didn't send an email to do the transfer.  Are they still really in business; is it worth the hassle?

Just to let everyone know, I also have a lifetime membership and just got it transferred in early February.

Just when I am finally found a provider that actually wants to screen me through DC!
I am also locked out.. I can log in, but I'm treated as unpaid member.

I've emailed [email protected], but no replies yet. How did you guys get in touch with support to get them to transfer? Where's chat link?
