I would suggest she go utr and let time pass. If hes acting dangerous she MUST go to LE. That was the only thing that stopped my psycho stalker!
There is a Top Ranked provider who now refuses to tour in my metro area because of an A__Hole she says is stalking her!! First of all how do you providers deal with personal safety issues like this? How do you getting this guy to focus his attention elsewhere without involving LE? Second what can the hobby community do to prevent this guy from doing something really fucking stupid. He is F__king up things for every hobbist in my area with this BS..... Is it possible that TER admin would consider suspending his membership or maybe even hiding the providers Ad and other related post from him??? She tells me she is really scared things are escalating....

So get this my VERY FIRST provider I met from backpage .. i mean very first ... her boyfriend rushed into the motel, thankfully he wasn't no huge guy and someone i could take but i felt so ackward that i walked out with my money and half of a service.
From then on never EVER looked at backpage ever again.
In my humble opinion this is what TER is all about, to note the good and bad in the hobbying business. Therefore, warn him before the exposure, and if that does not help, name and shame is the only solution. Having said so, I also believe that we should not overrate the impact of stalkers. They definitely are annoying but it should not lead to changes in your business, just be more cautious.
Hope the stalker reads your post and gets the message that the TER members are behind you.
A provider I knew was being stalked by some dude. What she did since she knew this guy was watching her postings is when she went to a certain city, didn't post any ads while she was there. She ad more then enough trust worthy regulars in this particular area.
All she did was contacted all her regulars to let them know she would be that city for certain amount of days, so she got to pick and choose who she wanted to see, and still came out making really good money.
As for as the guy being banned from TER, that won't do anything. If he's really that dangerous TER does not mean anything to him at this point. Hopefully he's just some guy who has no life, and needs some attention.

Restraining orders, assistance from a PI &/or Atty. This has been discussed before. A search should find previous threads.

no one wants to be stalked. it's very serious and dangerous business. but if all you are hearing is her complaint you may need to consider: if she wants to avoid getting LE involved, it may be there is no stalking going on.
if there is a guy who is showing up _physically_ uninvited, that is seriously messed up and needs attention in the form of a restraining order or involvement from authorities. OTOH if he is just watching her ads or posts and not communicating with her, that's not stalking. he may have concerns for his own security and be trying to avoid her and her "friends".
some providers may be very shrewd and sharp at playing the "stalker" game. it can be a means of retaining sympathy from the community and covering their own unprofessional handling of clients. in the case one lady whom i managed to annoy, a mutual "friend" would call me up and let me know the annoyed lady's exact location. ("she's at the bar in hotel X. why don't you go over and kiss and make up?")
i never followed that suggestion because i saw it as presenting a credible risk of being a trap into justifying a bogus stalker complaint with LE or something worse. i figured that if the lady really wanted to "kiss and make up", i'd hear from her directly.
if your friend is really being stalked, please encourage her to get help from LE. that is really the best way to stop a stalker. if she is not really being stalked and is simply trying to use a false "stalker" claim as a way of getting back at someone.... then you need to reconsider overdoing the WK thing.
i forget that hobbyland is prone to overanalysis. please do not assume that my story applies to anyone in my review profile. i only review about 30% of folks i've seen.
If the lady is being stalked & feels threatened, she must attempt to avoid contact by blocking his email & numbers. Not respond to his messages. If he tries a new email or number, cut it off as soon as it's discovered.
If he's persistant, she has the option of going to LE... or to an Attorney or Private investigator. If his identity is not fully known, is where the PI comes in. The stalker holds the power as long as his interests are not at stake. A cease & desist letter on the Att letter head might get him to back off without going to the Police which is a 2 edged sword.
If that does not work & it becomes necessary to go to the Police, it's not a stretch to say the lady formerly had a relationship but now wants no further contact. The Att should be in a position to control this scenerio in your local jurisdiction.
Suspending a person's TER membership accomplishes nothing as most data can be viewed by non-members or simply use another Internet location. It's probably not possible to hide a provider's ad (if she has them up). She might want to not advertize on TER for a time. She could request voluntary delisting for a period which removes her TER profile / reviews from view & blocks any new ones. In cases like this, she can have the account restored after the drama passes. She might want to invent a new stage name or omitt from any ads she runs.
I DO think it would be wise to inform TER admin in advance so that any fake reviews he might try to submit would be disallowed. TER has the ability to track not only users names but also IP numbers.
