Some reviewers do this.   Not all.    But yes,  I have noticed that pattern many times.

 
Once, when I was bored, I searched reviews by scores to read some of the few where reviewers consistently give 9-10s for looks but a 5 or lower for performance.  That was some funny stuff right there lmao.

I will wade into this one and hopefully do regret being the first to respond.

I cannot determine what your body type is via the pictures on your site.  Given I live in the Midwest I doubt or paths will cross.  So I really cannot comment on the accuracy of the reviews in that department.

Perhaps your price point is too low and you are attracting a lower tier of client.  According to your TER profile you charge $250 for FS and Anal, a price point that some higher quality  clients might pass on.  

Generalizing "us guys" really is not a fair assessment of the men that post or use TER.  After many years of reading posts on these boards I have learned there are variety of personalities who use TER.   As it should be.

One thing I can generalize is this.  Majority of men agree we should treat a lady escort with respect and dignity.  A good many fellows enjoy a variety of body types and techniques, myself included.  So whatever your type is, do not be troubled by it.  

HOWEVER, if an escort misrepresents herself in any way she should and will get called out.  I suggest you ask yourself if you are  misrepresenting your appearance. I am not saying you are, I am not saying you are not.  I do not know.

I forget exactly what the poll was -- want to say something about pics not being the actual girl or something like that. The results were that the mere fact things were not as expected resulted in a significant number or responses saying that they would down grade the assessment of looks. Interestingly too, some also indicated that would result in a down grade of performance.

 
My take away on that is two fold. One, setting and meeting expectations is very important (true in any customer experience setting not just here) because people do tend to hang on to their expectations and don't like disappointment (most hate change, and particularly change they didn't plan).  The other is that if I don't hang on tightly to my own expectations I might actually be able to have more fun because I don't get hung up on what I thought I was going to get. Clearly the later case requires that what I do get is what I would have wanted anyhow but....  

 
There is also a third take away related to how one reads reviews and so goes about forming expectations about the unknown provider you might choose to see but not really interested in going down that rabbit hole.

on TER who have no consistency within their own reviews, and many who give the same score for looks and service even though they are two separate evaluations.   I have reviewed many providers who's appearance scores were significantly higher than their performance scores, and vice versa.  Then there are those reviewers who use scores to bully a provider into providing off-menu services.  This has been going on for as long as I have been here, but fortunately, its a small percentage of reviewers that do this.  Most reviewers try to be honest, but many lose their consistency along the way.  If you are in the game for a substantial period of time, you will undoubtedly encounter some of these reviewers who bully and use review scores for manipulation and revenge.  

 
5-4 and 152 lbs CAN be fat, but it can also be "curvy" and attractive.  If depends on how the weight is distributed over the lady's frame.   I generally seek out those that are more slender, but I recently saw a girl that I didn't know was in this range  (most ladies state their height, but not their weight, so you are left with a judgment call based on the photos) and the service earned her a score of 9 (standard GFE menu, but well done).  It was an excellent session even though I did not find her as visually appealing to my own tastes as she would have been at 20-25 pounds less.

People have different standards for looks and different preferences.  

 
I dont think you are quite bbw at those dimensions, but many would consider you over the desired weight. Desired weight range is part of "looks". And for guys who are shorter or smaller, you might as well look like a bbw without actually  being one.  

 

Now, the expectations. The escortbk link that you have in your profile states that you're 5'4 139. You say in your post  you're 154. That's a fifteen pound difference and 10+ % difference,hardly an insignificant amount for a woman.  

 
Perhaps if you update your measurables on that website to reflect your current measurables, people would have less issues.

 
Now, in general if people get something they don't ecpect looks wise and they're disappointed, of course they re gonna ding you in looks. There is no field that says expectations matched. Many people will have trouble objectively evaluating looks, since it's a subjective criteria. If someone likes pizza but strongly dislikes Hawaiian pizza, they will have a tough time evaluating such pizza, even if its an excellent pizza from high quality ingredients. Since looks are subjective, not finding what you expect is a letdown for many.  

 
One more advice/question here : why not show your body in the pics? This way, there will be less disappointments, as people who might not like the type will be weeded out by the virtue of understanding fully whether your type will match their expectation. As is, the escortbk ad has measurements that are out of date and has conveniently no pics of your body. It's understandable to me how someone can book and then realize that they looks they signed up for isn't quite their type. Imo when you're "curvy", including real body pics is essential. Otherwise it just looks like you're trying to hide something. I always wondered why this happens, as when people will see you via wysiwyg pics will rarely be disappointed by your looks because they know what they signed up for. When you're withholding pics of your body, you're bound to have disappointments. If your goal is better reviews over short-term money, I think being honest and giving a monger a good idea of what he will get is important.  

 

Last but not least, the assumption that looks get dinged if performance isn't up to expectations. This shouldn't happen, but it does largely because some mongers tie up overall rating with these categories. It's unfortunate this happens.  

It often works the other way too though. A great looking girl will get her performancs rating artificially raised, or a great performer will have slightly inflated looks rating.  

In short, disappointment from mongers shouldn't but does spread to other areas and shouldn't but can influence other aspects of rating. It's like many people can't objectively evaluate OJs football skills without thinking of his non-football issues and cases.

But it works both ways.  
Some reviewers can't or won't separate good looks and good service .

Average girl who gives above average service will be the beneficiary of higher scores in appearance.  

Conversely,  if a monger has a bad time, then she was ugly too.

 
On a personal note,  you don't look +150 lbs in your pictures and your ads have you listed at less. Some mongers also subtract when reality doesn't align with what is advertised.

It'd be more convincing with new full-frontal photos and no angle and filters off in your album. The other 2 reviewers rated 6s in looks said the same about photos are being outdated. I'd stop reading those 3 reviews if I were in your area. Misleading photos are a boner killer, but that's just me.

I’d suggest getting professional photos done instead of the angled selfies your using, We all know those make us look thinner. A photo head on of your entire body back and front may be helpful to those looking for a specific type. I list myself has curvy and make it a point to show that in my photos. I have hips and a full backside(that I work hard to have) and make sure to showcase that in my photos. If someone was looking for a spinner, I would not be for them. Your weight being off by 10-15lbs won’t really matter if your honestly displaying and portraying  what your figure looks like. It’s not fun hearing anything negative and reviews aren’t always the best but it’s up to you to market yourself has honest has possible to avoid the negative comments. Plenty of men out there love a curvy girl. Embrace it girlfriend!

Honestly, I read your last review and it seemed very fair. He was critical of your weight/size which I understand because like a couple of others have said no chance the lady in the pics in your ads tied to your TER profile weighs 154 unless she’s wearing ankle weights and a dive belt. So I probably would have been disappointed too. Moreover, when I looked back at the reviewer’s prior reviews they were all good scores, so obviously he’s not an overly tough rater.

Also, the reviewer strongly complimented your oral skills and seemed pretty objective about your performance in the bedroom. He also said that you are a sweet and happy person, not something that seems like he has an axe to grind. He did note that you did not provide rimming which was apparently in your TER profile at the time (and which now seems to have been corrected). That’s something that always affects my performance grading - when a lady advertises a specific service that I enjoy and then refuses the service after I’ve paid for the session.  

So overall I didn’t see anything in the review that looked unfair or like it was retribution. I agree with the other posters that if you’ve gained weight you should update your pics to show your current body size/shape. From my perspective if I walk in and the lady doesn’t look like her pictures it negatively affects the session and probably, whether consciously or subconsciously, affects my enjoyment of the session and hence my review and ratings.

That's misleading, Amber. The average Joe client who stumbles onto your outdated website has no way of knowing that you're aware its extremely outdated and the pictures in there are too, that you don't use it much for business, that you don't really pay attention or care to update it, that you don't waste your time anymore with it and that you focus on the sites that actually generate business for you.

If he only sees the outdated website and contacts you based on what it shows, do you inform him of any of these facts? A client's disappointment when he first lays eyes on you face-to-face can be traced back to expectations that YOU have set by presenting yourself one way online yet in actuality it is no longer you. No one can be held responsible for your website but you.  Acknowledging here in a Discussion Group that it's outdated is great, and it indicates that instead of letting it stand as it is, maybe it's time to delete it or update it.

The "bbw" claim made by the reviewer you mention in your original post is most likely an example of just that: he may have seen only that one website. I don't know what is his impression of what constitutes bbw, but just looking for a way to insult you is wrong.

None of the above excuses any reviewer who rates you poorly in your performance because he is gobsmacked by your appearance or vice versa.

Than maybe you should just take it down.

A great explanation while putting your situation into context.   Simply put, it appears to me you encounter a couple of bad apples.  It happens on both sides, luckily not very often on my end.

I would say if I see pics of a provider and I don't see a full-body pic it starts ringing this little red alarm in my head. This alarm intensifies to a shrieking level if it's clear the pics are made so as to no show full body, on purpose. I understand that it tries to showcase flattering, but in many cases it ends up embellishing and hiding things.  

 
There ARE providers out there who have some less-than-flattering pics of themselves. And they are commended for their truth. Moreover, such providers minimize the disappointment. If nothing was hidden and everything was truth , there is nothing to be disappointed about from the client side. The people who end up seeing you are because they attracted to YOU and not to the doctored pics.  
Which is an extremely pertinent distinction. You don't have to wait for repeaters this way to know who likes you and not their fantasy of you from your ad.

If you're just asking the TER moderators to remove the link to your site but leaving that site up you will still run the risk of having people see it and then be disappointed with the difference in what is presented and what the reality is now.

 
If you just take the site down, or just replace the main page with some "Under Construction" type page you don't need to worry about what TER has. Not sure why you care about keeping an outdated site up but that seems to be something that will likely come back to you later in a negative way.
