OK, I posted on trying different covers for fit & recieved good advise...  I did my research on line & came up with a few items to try out.

For a sample to try out, it seemed silly to mail order.  I found the T item no problem.
I found the listing for Lifestyles "ultra thin" also had extra head room I wanted to try... so I searched online, found a Walgreens several towns away had them in stock so I went there. The package they had was more than I needed but I figured I was already there.
I just went & opened the box... on the back it describes them as "straight style".  So the product has been redesigned but the package looks identical to previous product.  I guess I should have taken my reading glasses & used them!

I just felt it was easier to cash & carry for the small quantity desired for testing / sampling.  I will be ordering from some discrete place on line...  just as I planned to do once I'd settled on a favorite.
