You should take your shoes and socks off at the from t door when you walk in.
I used to only have ppl take off the shoes.
But it sounds like both since socks would be prone to picking up hairs.
Or you could shake your socks as I have seen ppl do before they put them on.

I used to ask ppl before they left if the were single or attached and or I always inspected ppl before they left.

Sometimes ppl get in a hurry and want to leave without there hair right or not looking the same as when they came in ( a little disheveled ) but I don't allow ppl to leave without hair in place and looking put back together.
I do a hair check I search them before they leave and then they take off before my hair can try to hitchhike on them.
