Breakdown of Asian ethnicites

Any idea if TER will ever breakdown the 'Asian' group into more distinct ethnic backgrounds, like Chinese, Japanese, Korean etc.   I, and I'm sure alot of other hobbyists would appreciate it.

I've left comments under Suggestion & Policy but I never hear anything back.

A lot of girls lie about it anyway, trying to play on whatever they perceive to be the "hot" ethnic group at a particular time.

I had a big thing for Japanese and Korean ladies for years, almost to the point of being a snob. One lonely night on the road in Philly I found an ad on CL that just said "Asian hottie". I called, she came over.  She was an American born Filipino lady and I had, without a doubt, the best experience with a provider that I had ever had to that point. Back in Boston I found another new hottie and, sure enough, she turned out to be half Filipino. My point is don't get tied up in being a race snob like I did, you may be missing out on some great experiences. On my last trip to LA I found a gorgeous Thai lady who, unfortunately, got out of the business much too quickly...

What I wonder about that is, how many white guys would know the difference between them?  I admit I would not know which they were.  I'm sure they can tell, but not me.

I can usually tell the difference from a woman's pictures, and even more so when I meet her.  And, though TER doesn't break it down, you can usually tell pretty quickly from a provider's reviews.

Just curious, are you suggesting that the site should be designed to cater to white guys?

Wow, you are clearly more experienced than I.  How do you tell the difference by the reviews?

I love women, not races or ethnic backgrounds. If they have the right equipment, and are willing to share it with me, that's a touchdown.

My wife is Japanese and I've lived, a long time, in an area with many different Asian and Asian/American populations.

My 100 percent Filipino ATF was described a "Half White" by a reviewer a few months ago simply because she has lived here since she was a baby and has no accent...
As I said earlier, it's wise not to get too hung up on these things. Read the reviews and look at the pics. If she floats your boat give her a call.

Personally, I agree with you and I think TER is right in not getting caught up in the mess of trying to sort it all out. Sorting it out does seem to be important to the original poster. Since we are from the same area I was trying to give him advice based on that. There are many Asian hobbiests here, and they will often comment on the nationality or ethnicity of the provider they are reviewing.

... and a 2 point conversion!

On the other hand, I still have a fantasy date which begins in a sushi bar, with her ordering off-the-menu items in Japanese and ends with me drinking shots of sake from my date's navel.

But he didn't say anything about being a "race snob".

He simply wants to be able to differentiate between various ethnicities, all grouped under "Asian".

That's like listing Puerto Rican, Cuban, Brazilian, Mexican......  all under "Latina".

Don't be so quick to jump on top of that high horse, and shove the benefit of your great wisdom in front of everybody.

I'm not really a big fan of the term African American either. I'm in no way African, though I recently got my citizenship so I guess I'm an American now!

I often wondered how folks felt about that term. My ancestors came from Ireland, but I don't call myself "Irish American". I was born here, so I'm an American. Period!

Well, for starters I am white.  I speak conversational Mandarin and Cantonese and I can tell with very good accuracy if a woman is Chinese, Japanese, etc.  I'm not perfect, but very good at it.   I am not requesting this for any racially elitist purpose.  In LA I am lucky to have the luxury of meeting all the different ethnicities of Asian women in real life.  I'd like to extend that to my hobbying.
Variety is the spice of life!

Not any more than it's catering to (Blacks/Latinos/Asians??) by breaking down Italian/Russian/French and whatever else they have on there now..

I've no idea who that's designed for based on your question.
