If you get egregiously baited and switched by a TBTBT add, some say that's on you, should have known better, but I've seen some that are over the line misleading.   Deserves a 1 or less if it's bad enough to force a walk.  

So that is why you always have to read the review to find out if this is the gal for you or not.

It is also why guys have to give hard specifics, and not bland generalities.

7's and below aren't even considered.  Anything below an 8 is generally bad.  Most 8's and 9's are significantly less attractive than ladies that I have dated IRL when in my prime or close to it (an important qualifier).  So I usually want to see at least 9's across the board.  Otherwise there is a good chance that I will be paying to see a lady that is less attractive than ladies that I have seen/see IRL.

Would you be ANY more likely to see a woman with a bunch of 3's for either performance or appearance than you would a woman with a bunch of 1's? For that matter, let's extend that up to even a 5 I would NEVER see a TER 5, Truth be told where it comes to appearance at least even a TER 7 is pretty homely most of the time.

 
I think we all need to admit that due to "grade inflation" and reviewers with either no balls or no standards AND the guys who don't want to "hurt a woman's business" even if she just ripped him off, we are left with a de facto 7-10 scale here on TER.  

 
The worse news is that it's been going on for so long that I don't see any way to reverse it. If a guy sees a girl with "Average looks and Average performance" and gives her a 5-5 review, the rest of us have been so conditioned to grade inflation that we see 5-5, but we think to ourselves "Ugly with bad service" I think the toothpaste is already out of the tube and I see no way of putting it back in.

Under my old handle Phunhog. The situation in question was a supposed duo where we met in a seedy hotel and one lady refused to let me so much as touch her. it was awful.

Other than that I don't think I've dipped below a 5 or 6 in performance.  As far as I'm concerned, the performance score is for whether she actually did the acts that merit the score AND whether she put any effort into doing it.  Letting me DATY you while you watch TV is not going to get you a good score no matter how much I love DATY.

Despite TER's attempt to quantify some scores by 'requiring' the provider to offer certain services AND actually provide those services during the reviewers' session, the reality is each reviewer can only provide a score based on their personal expectations and experience. If you get a BBBJ for the first time in your life, you are likely to give a higher score for performance and looks (assuming you enjoyed it).  So IMO the actual scores are less relevant that the review write up.

I prefer spinner types, especially shorter Latinas and Asians and especially submissive personalities. If I see a 10/10 or 9/9 review for a provider who is 5'10", 135 lbs, with triple D's, I'm still probably going to pass. She may be the greatest sex partner on the planet for that reviewer, but she's just not my type. And that same reviewer may score a 5'1", 98 lbs LBFM 22 year old as a 6/7 and complain she's flat and doesn't know how to please a man. But I'll favorite that provider immediately and look for a reason to visit her city if she's not local.

Having said all that, since I generally filter my searches to only include my preferred type, scanning for the high scores is a short cut to START evaluating search results.

My lowest was a 4 / 3. She truly MIGHT have been ok if I was very drunk and she really was a waste of my time.  

 
I like to think I've been fairly honest (no inflation) now that I mostly post reviews under my alias, but I do admit that under my handle I have given more than 1 girl and extra 1-2 points in looks that they likely wouldn't get from me in a real life meet-up.

 
As far as the value of 1-10 versus another system, I agree that the majority of mongers would never see a 4 or less on purpose, but like the rest of the scoring/review system,  not much chance or reason to change. Plus there may be guys who have an ugly fetish and seek out the 1s and 2s. Case in point, Coco from LA. to each his own, I guess.

For example, my former cable provider had such lousy customer service I would have given them a negative score if I could.  😁

Now, on TER reviews looking back through the years, 6 is the lowest I’ve given on Appearance or Performance.  I think the reason I haven’t given lower scores is that I’ve done a good job on research (much thanks to TER there).  And I haven’t given lower than a 7 for a long time.  I think my research got better with experience.

any performance below a 5 makes the same statement.    and in looks anyone below a 5 i just turned around and left or gave her $50 for her troubles and told her to leave my hotel room.    it happens  but then i cant review them is the issue.   wish there was a category and check box for when that happens   ie  walk out on girl.

The lowest rating I ever gave was for Kali (from Michelle's Escorts, Chicago).  It was a 6, but it should have been a 5, but I was afraid I'd get blacklisted from the agency for giving a bad review.

Now, she looked incredibly hot, was available on time, and delivered the basics. Which is well and good.  But oh man, her obvious lack of physical attraction to me was obvious! [sic] She was a piss-poor actress; I could tell by her body language and her facial expressions that she didn't want to be there, and that she wouldn't even hug me, let alone do the usual escort things, if I hadn't given her the donation.  The whole session was awkward as hell!

An experience can be a 4 even if the girl is a 10. I think if we are all going to do reviews we cant hold back and need to be honest from our experiences no matter what. Looks are subjective but ive seen girls that I would rate a 6 in the past that would easily of given an 8 or higher if they bothered to care enough to prepare for a session properly. Or vice versa I've sessioned with a couple ladies if they were at least somewhat communcative, punctual, non rushing & tried just a bit to make an effort what id consider a 4 could of easily been a 7-8 or higher.

I think the lowest score looks wise I've given is maybe a 5? Performance a 3.

It is true that if performance is great, then the looks score will be a bit higher by a point or two.  

I guess the question is - is looks part of the performance?
