I  personally love the look of perfect long french manicured nails, but
have found.....it's difficult to not leave a mark (ie:lipstick washes!)&
getting those little buggers out of the package then gently on HIM
can be dangerous with mini blades attached to my fingertips...ouch!
is natural better? for safety's sake. Good Q! What do the guys think?

Do you Prefer Long Fingernails or short?
Also...   What are your Favorite Colors for Fingernails and toenails?
I like Cheries In The Snow..  and Reds.

A girl I know once told me..... if a girl takes care of her fingernails and toes then you can be sure that all the stuff in between is taken care of also. I think it`s a real sign of a well taken care of woman. To answer your question. I like medium length good ol` fashioned French manicures.Umm... I mean Freedom manicures.

Nothing I can't stand more (and apparently I am in the majority) is a woman who will wear open toed shoes without polish.

I also prefer natural, as opposed to acrylic nails, they look too cheap ho-ish for my taste. Better to keep them short if you can't grow them.

If you do a lot of anal play in your work, then short nails are a must. I'd think this would be obvious, but sometimes you must give up a little appearance for performance.

I Love French manicures Too!
I'll be geting My nails done soon!
Thanks Guys & Girls!

I know it is probably the minority view, but I prefer nails short. Painted is nice and I have no preference as to color, except no black.

Women with long nails have cut me accidently any number of times. The idea of those sharp nails around my fragile member is disconcerting.

I'm with you and Nicole on this one (hmmm, I know I like being with you, and I suspect I would like Nicole as well... could be fun... but I digress).  I keep my nails short and try to keep sheer pink or clear nail polish on my fingernails (bubble baths loosen the polish).  I like being able to feel with and use my fingertips, and years of playing the violin kept me from developing habits that would allow me to maintain long fingernails.

However, I like my toenails painted red!  Short and neat and red.  Sometimes I go for a French pedicure in the summer, but most of the time they're rrrrrrred (yes, I really like red).  :-)

Oh, and no acrylic nails for me.  Those things can be weapons!  And, never any "fashion" colors, like blue or black.  Do any men like those colors?  I suspect that only we ladies think those colors are cute, but I could be wrong.

Laurel,
Considering the allure of the rest of you, I wonder how many people pay much attention to your nails, finger or toe.

I think it's not length or color as much as it is how well the nails are taken care of.  IMO, mid-length, not too bright or with designs for fingernails, and short toenails with a light polish and no hard, dry skin on the feet (yuck).
