Guys are stimulated visually more so than women.  So for us, light = good!

Up to begin with.  Then dimmed for a bit. Then off for a bit. Then back up.

On how attractive the lady is!

I personnaly find that some ladies who may not be overly attractive provide a great service but the visuals are not so great. While some of the more attractive ladies more often than not lack in the skills department so the visuals are a requirement.

Do you prefer the lights up or down during an encounter?

I like to see the lady, so I like the lighting up. Of course the lady probably prefers it down so she deosn't have to look at my ugly self.
If it is her incall, then I let her set the mood. if it is my outcall then I set the mood.

Is it going to be kinky session where I am going to get spit on and beaten up? Am I going to be lucky enough to get my head ripped off? Will I get a bloody nose, broken jaw?--- If answers are YES, the I want to lights to be up.

Is it going to be a sweet loving making session to jazz music with wine and strawberries? Then I would prefer the lights to be dimmed...

Candlelight is great.  Not to mention, when I "plug in", my dates always light-up!!

But a day time encounter with the shades drawn usually has plent of light (around the edges) with out the overhead lights.  I don't want to need shades, indoors.  Even at night a couple of stick candles safely on the dresser is plenty of light.

I want to see her so I like lights at least at first. But it often depends on my mood at the time. I do like candle light, real or battery, I don't care.

Once my wife and I were making love with the lights on and right in the middle of it she says...Oh! close the car door!! (rim shot)

I love the romantic aspect of low lighting, but more than that, I like to see her.

Besides, I'm 50 y/o and prefer to boink young girls. Think they wanna see me? lol

As long as the table lamps near the bed are off, I am fine.  I hate them to be shining in my eyes.

One gal I know loves to have just the light from the TV on (With the sound turned off.).  She says the flicker in the light from the TV is a turn on.  Whatever.  8o)
