Hi, some providers use photo verification, that is you text a selfie to them...but what good does that due?? I am just thinking of the privacy issue, no one would want their photo out there...any opinions? thank you all..
From the provider side, I suppose if you end up murdering her it gives LE a VERY good place to start looking. It also ensures that the guy that shows up at her door is the guy she actually screened. It has happened that guys have let other guys use their P 411 account to book appointments, so the guy that shows up is not the guy she actually screened.
Personally, unless you are one of those guys (like me) who really doesn't give a fuck if your picture ends up splashed all over the internet so EVERYONE can see that you patronize hookers, I would advise STRONGLY against sending one. Actually, even though my picture is already splashed all over the internet, and virtually everyone in both my business and personal life already know I like to fuck hookers, I still wouldn't send a selfie as part of screening. It's your choice of course to decide how much risk and how many hoops you are willing to jump through in order to see any one given hooker.
1) they want to weed out undesirable races.
2) they want to weed out undesirable body types i.e. guys "too fat"
3) they want to weed out someone maybe too old or too young
4) some believe it helps with the "connection"
5) others just want the person they see through the peep hole is the same person that sent them the pic
6) still others view it as a case of "fairness" i.e. you get to see what they look like so they feel they should be able to see you as well
Now, much like sending RW info, I am thoroughly against it. It is just another level of risk most men wont take and def not something I would ever do.
One more aspect may be they don't really know who they screened is actually standing at the door.
many Vegas hookers use photos. If you go to her hotel incall, and you are not the same guy as in the photo, they will not open the door. If she is coming to your hotel room, and the guy who opens the door is not the guy in the photo she received, she will leave and not come into the room.

Perhaps it varies by State but my understanding is that LE is allowed to actually complete the act as part of their legal duties. If so all this about LE checks is pure BS/urban myth/fake news/seriously outdated (take you pick).

That is assuming a male "client" who is LE and a female provider. OTOH, If you are a guy and you walk into a "sting" with a female undercover officer, she will NEVER let you touch her in a sexual manner. The problem of course is that if she is not an actual member of LE and simply a hooker who has been "turned" in that case all bets are off. So I guess we are back to "LE checks are COMPLETE BULLSHIT" lol
...that I'll jump through during her screening process, and there are some through which I will not jump.
Sending a photo of me is a hoop too far, for me; there's no telling where my likeness will go or for what ends it might be used.
Perhaps she will dump the photo and my contact info once we've successfully completed our appointment...or perhaps she won't -- I'm just not going to take that risk.

First I don't (almost never) see pros who aren't on P411. The one (or two?) who weren't on P411 were well known and had good reputations. A few (one?) asked for photo ID. Because of their long standing reputation in the biz, it didn't bother me to send the photo ID.

Booked an appointment in Atlanta a few days ago. This am she sends me a PM requesting information and a Photo ID. I have 35 we Mets on A reputable verification service. I told her that I spend $$$ a year so I should not have to do this.. she insisted so I politely cancelled. Like others have stated, this is 1 hoop I will not jump through.
Who was the girl if you don’t mind me asking? I live in Atlanta and had the same thing happen awhile back. I felt the same way, and canceled the appointment.
I'm the same way. As part of P411 I'm willing to show the portions of my license for matching, but not the whole thing. ANYTHING more than that is an automatic no thanks. I had a Brit in the UK demand that I make an international phone call to her phone for verification, 30 min before an appointment that was scheduled for over a week. I emailed her that that was not happening, so she went radio silent. It only ruined a once in a life time opportunity for me, no worries. I had a Canadian in Toronto demand the same to set up an appointment . . . oh well. But I've never had any in America make a similar demand . . . yet.
Although I did get a selfie request, ONCE. No thanks.

That's messed up. She's a time waster, if I am understanding you correctly.
I wanna be clear on this. I have NO problem with a girl asking for that info, or ANY info up front she feels she needs to be safe, as that is her right BUT... waiting until the day of to drop that bomb on you is VERY unprofessional.
I would advise ANYONE that is not "bullet proof" not to give up any RW info at all if possible. The girl is a stranger to you so that makes it risky in and of itself, and in addition, in this day and age, she can be hacked and some other idiot could out your info.
Similar thing happened to me in Boston several years ago. She, a well reviewed and popular touring Provider, and I had email and pleasant voice contact over several days prior to her visit to Boston. She checked me out on D-C where I was a platinum member. On the day of my appointment, I am nearby and (voice) call a little early to let her know I'm on schedule and can be there any time. She starts asking for personal info and I remind her that she had OKed me several days before using D-C and TER. She insisted on personal info and we agreed not to meet.

If one must be discreet about their hobbying activities, never reveal personal/private information to anyone who has less to lose than you do.

I do not feel comfortable providing a photo or real world information. I’ve had at least one provider insist on real world info and become a bit testy when I refused to divulge it. She relented sometime later but by then I was not available.
