First provider I ever saw eventually gave me her real name.  Even invited me into her home, and usually kept me longer then the sessions.  I never really minded...  guess I come off as interesting.  We talk a little every now and then now that Im out of the area.

I havnt visited many providers really, nor have I ever did a background search of one, but I suppose if you really wanted to snoop there would be ways to get that information...

I perfer not to be any creepier then I already happen to be though...

I work in the financial industry, so real names are a must. I recently had contact with a client whom I recognized as an escort thru her ads on EROS (I dabble part time in the hobby) .  due to the nature of the business transaction not only did she have to give us her real name and address but also provide photo proof of who she was.  I would never even think of contacting her for escort services, but this got me to wondering how easy it might be to get the real info on a provider .

Too often the hookers and johns put up info that can and is easily traceable.

The internet is just too easy to find out real info...if that's what you are looking to do.

We've had many threads discussing this problem..and still the players in this arena keep using social media.  Not to mention that with search engines and too much time on anyone's hands...it's just too damn easy to find out more than anyone really needs to know.  On both sides of this equation.

It isn't hard at all if you know HOW to look. But I don't see any possible reason you would want to know? No positive one that is.

The only ones who use the info are big trouble.

Being a victim myself of a nosey provider, I wouldn't even entertain the idea of searching of someone's identity. I have had a few providers give their real info unsolicited, and to be honest, it is a little uncomfortable.

nor do they have respect for themselves.

Finding out about others business, gossip and behind their back are some people’s favorite hobby.
Soon it will become an Olympic sport.

Are you not bound by confidentiality when you provide financial services?  My Dad was an accountant.  He did several of his friends' taxes.  He knew whose marriage was on the rocks, who drank too much and who cheated - at anything.  Went to his grave with those secrets.

Several have confided in me but I tell no one what I know.  Just as I would hope they stay silent about what they know about me.

One provider I knew purchased access to various databases.  When a potential new client would call her for an appointment she would use the databases to "check him out!"  One thing impressed me about her operation, she let you know she was doing it, but she also destroyed what she found.  Were I you, I would forget you ever met the lady - just better that way.

One Fav gave me her real name etc early on.  I don't need to know.  Any decent guy does not want to compromise her safety & security, must now protect her info as well as not revealing too much about exactly where she is located.

Glad you didn't contact her. I too work in an industry where we are privy to a lot of personal info about clients (income, credit scores, etc) I am bound by ethical, legal (and moral) obligations to protect the privacy of the people I work with. So if a lady ever came to me to utilize our service, and I recognized her from a hobby webite, eros ad, etc. I wouldn't mention anything hobby related to her; just treat her like a civilian client. If by chance, she was a provider that I had dated, I would refer her to one of my colleagues.

interesting post... i know the real names of a lot of providers i've seen, but never because i sought them out, simply got to know these people and it is what is - they know my real name too... granted i don't have a family to keep this from or a high profile career so that plays into how personal you get with people.

but i tend to agree with the other comments - who cares?  if you know there's an implicit "keep it to yourself" principle that is pretty much reciprocal.  and if you don't whats the point in seeking it out other than self satisfaction or some sort of mal intent?

also go to the bank on occasion, amazing isnt t? to picture an escort going to a bank! {gasp}
