I read Starbucks gift card was no longer accepted but having issue using Target gift Card to buy vip membership.

Why do you guys use these gift cards?  Why not just buy a prepaid Debit Card (VISA / MC etc ) and then use it?  You can also use bitcoins to buy TER membership as well..  Your life will be so much easier than trying to figure out which is the latest gift card to use and which might work and might not work..

Sorry, i did not mean to cause big debate about payment. Fyi, it worked today after not working since friday. My post can be ignored.

Your post is fine.. Boards are for talking and debating ideas..  I am sure there are others who would benefit from the post, and perhaps I may learn a thing or two that I don't know about.

That is true.. Back in the day it used be Vanilla VISA would work..  Also folks used to be able to send money order to Germany also..  I think BTC is the easiest way to go about these days...

I always use cash, in large part because I assume that is what she prefers. Pictures of dead US presidents work very well in the US and in most places outside of the UK, Thailand, and the Euro area where I use their local cash. FWIW in Vietnam, American president pictures are strongly preferred to local currency. Vietnam has had high inflation and currency controls, which Thailand has not.

Which make them useful for any exchange in this hobby. Even sites like FetLife which have nothing illegal going on (organized events where consenting adults fuck at orgies, swinger parties etc aren't illegal)  still use gift card as main payment option. No processing fees and no trace.  

See buying BTC is not as complicated anymore as it used to be.   Back when BTC first came about, yes, the learning curve was a bit steep.. But now buying BTC is as simple as buying stocks.   Companies like Coinbase, Robinhood have made it easy. In fact Robinhood don't even charge you any fees.  

Sure but it is still not an everyday thing for boomers.
