I'm tired of looking at that cheesy site, and find WAY too many ladies are using it.  Two thumbs DOWN!

I use Rare Escort" and I don't think it's cheesy.

it's easy to use and saves me money.

maybe I'll put together a website of my own...but for now, Rare Escort will do.

Providers, are you getting this?  I've basically stopped looking at these sites.  Not bad enough that we get hit with the prompt asking us if we want to add the site to our list of favorites (Uh, that would be a "Hell No!"), but we have to deal with hard-to-read rates, and terrible photos.  I love clicking on a thumbnail only to see the photo come out exactly the same size or EVEN SMALLER!!  But you know why I've basically stopped looking at the sites?  They ooze cheapness and tackiness!

The site is easy to navigate, you know exactly where to go to find contact information, pictures, rates, etc.  No need to worry about music blaring all over your office.  The provider can customize it as much or as little as she wants.  I am much more concerned about the quality of an appointment than if she pays for a more professional site.  I have had great appointments with rare-escort providers, and mediocre appointments with providers with expensive professional sites, and vice versa.  I do agree that the provider needs to be careful to block the pop-ups and to use pictures that work on that particular site.

The prompt asking you if you want to add the site can be turned off. Most women have no idea it even comes up. I didn't know about it until it was mentioned on the discussion board. Once I found out about it, I turned it off.

If a provider's pics come up just as small or smaller when you click on them, that has nothing to do with rare-escort. That has to do with the file size or type of pic that they used. If they post nothing but a thumbnail, then a thumbnail is all that will be displayed.

Cheapness or tackiness has more to do with the amount of time and work the lady herself puts into her website. Rare-escort provides the template, it doesn't provide the inspiration to say something worth reading.

To be perfectly honest, after reading more than a few comments on this board about rare-escort, I have considered changing and getting a new website. Then I start thinking about all the places I have a profile on the internet that list the rare-escort site, and I remember the frustration I went through (days of it) simply trying to do link exchanges with other sites, (I am abysmally internet illiterate), I think of the daunting task of actually having to build a website as opposed to having a conveniently made template from which to work, and I decide to hell with it. Why should I put myself through the headache of tracking down all the sites that list my profile, pay for a new website, and go through all the frustration of building a site of my own - just becase a few guys think rare-escort is cheap? Sorry, losing one customer just isn't worth all that aggravation, especially given how often I am complimented on the website that I already have. So, if rare-escort bothers you so much that you automatically pass on the lady in question, that is certainly your perogative. I don't think its really going to make that much difference to many women, but you are certainly welcome to your opinion.

I don't mind the rare-escort websites at all. I agree with graydon in that they are easy to navigate, have the pertinent information, etc.  I see a rare escort provider regularly and have wonderful appointments with her. So, to me, the rare escort website is not an issue.

I think - holy shit, not again! What I don't like is the way they display the photos, you click the thumbnail, the site dims and the photo box pops up and gyrates to size... annoying antics, time consuming, clumsy... just keep it simple.

Yes, the popup asking about bookmarking is a minor PITA.  Yes, some ladies don't spend very much time filling in the blanks in this template.  Yes, some sites tend to look like others.

However, the template is fairly easy for a hobbyist to use, he can find what he's looking for very easily and in the same place on each site, and the degree to which a lady expresses herself creatively and effectively in making up her website may be a positive indication how creative and effective the date will be.

JMVHO.

The rare escorts template doesn't bother me.  The information I need is there and I know just where to look.  I haven't found a correlation between level of service and the provider's website.  And I've seen some custom websites that were just awful.

My two request of any website: 1) please, no music; 2) please, give us an idea where you are located.

I started using that site and found it to be more annoying and tacky than I expected . Many people just like yourself did complain about it . So ,I was lead  by another professional lady to a professional web designer  and I have totally enjoyed his work and how well he works with me . I would not go back to a non professional site.
And first appearance means a lot more than we imagine in this industry .

I have to laugh when I read these comments about the cheapness of a particular website, and how that is an automatic "NO", when DAILY on the local boards I see requests for info on the latest new CL ad.  Clearly, to each his own. I have actually had complaints because my website doesn't have a currency converter, "like those high class rare escort sites do".....lol.

It's nothing I can't handle.  Click no when it ask to make it a favorite.  As far as the little pictures go, if I can't tell anything from the pictures, I move on to another escort.  It's as easy as that.

But anyway, I have viewed some and yes some are tacky, depends on how the gal chooses to navigate her own site, SHE can make it look cheap or choose to make it nice

Most ladies choose rare escorts as it is a quick way to make a website for free, rather than calling someone up to make it for them and most are discreet and don't wish to involve a 2nd party ....so for you to state such a big comment like that takes a lot of gusto as it tells all ladies that use it that they are, simply cheap.

Jamie, if I lived in or near Toronto, I'd see you in a heart-beat!  Your reviews are good and show you to be a classy GFE.  If I may, your web site could use a few more pics.  You can have pics that are descrete and not necessarily graphic.  Just a little variety would be nice like a nice VS outfit, bathing suit, etc.

They are everywhere arent there?  Hey its a site..its better then nothing...like me..I dont have one really..just a date-check page.

 I do have a site..but it will be up this Fall sometime..definitely by the end of the year.  I need to finish it up...and I have some photo shoots I am doing in a few months..so I am waiting for those...

 The guy that did date-check and heaven n heels did my site, so I am happy about it.  I could of used the rare-escort site, I even set it up..but just let it slide..I want my site to be nice and unique.  I am trying to go for a certain vibe..and the pictures are going to be unlike photos I have ever taken..so I am soo looking forward to it.

well for me the site has everything you want to know and more, its free and it is easy to navigate. Whats the big deal i dont think its cheesy. Like when do men care about how a girls site looks like as long as you get the rates and pics. I dont understand. I have put a lot of money and time into buying sexy lingerie only to have the hobbyist want it off right away and not even say a word on how sexy it is.

I HATE rare-escort sites.  I too avoid going to them now.  Let me state first that I dislike any site where the act of getting to the pics is slowed down or artsied up too much.  Rare-escort is one of those sites, and the fact that it is a template that rears its ugly head daily makes it a frequent annoyance.

The banner at the top is usually not the girl on the site.  The pictures take do their stupid pop-up, resize, often 'resizing' 0%.  

I am glad I am not the only one who feels this way about this crap template.
