Hi all As my post and alias indicate I am a recovering individual for a while now. I am relatively new to the hobby but have seen many girls in a short amount of time. Sometimes I have conflicting feelings as to how to reconcile this hobby with my clean lifestyle. I am wondering if there are any other friends of bill out there and what your thoughts are. I do not wish to stop hobbling but I feel like I may be outta control with it. Thoughts, suggestions?
I too have an addictive personality! I don't think I could be an escort if I weren't addicted to sex. If you can beat one addiction then you can beat anything! Clearly, I use my addiction to my advantage. But if I weren't addicted to sex then it'd be something else. At times i wonder if I have a problem with: online shopping, beef carpaccio, lemon drop martinis, and Sunday morning bingo. When in doubt, take a break. If you can't control it then admit it! That's the first step, right?
Watched it. shankin' my head! (deep sigh). Ok. Although the episode was funny, I'm serious! It could be a real problem! Some guys can't hobby safely! If hobbying gets one in trouble, then its a problem! Some guys spend more than they can! Other guys spend time that they can't! Unfortunately, my personal ATF was a public figure. He met me and then got caught. (--moment of silence). His wife called 10+ times and then stopped. She just did a press conference with him yesterday (not hobby related). I dunno if that makes him an 'addict' but IMO, I'd stop. I have an appt with him for Tuesday! What we need to be concerned about is Katie's love of cash!

...but you already know that. Bill W. loved the ladies. I don't think he hobbied but he was chronically unfaithful to his wife while staying sober. To me, hobbying is a much more honest way to live.
Most providers won't try to make you drink. Sober clients are easier to deal with than drunk, aggressive ones. This is something you may want to discuss with a sponsor. You may also want to check out the SSA link posted here and take their test. Replacing one addiction with another could be problematic.
