The actual etymological origins of 'fuck' are not 100% agreed upon by scholars but this much in known.  'Fuck' was never derived from any acronyms whatsoever.  The 'For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge' tag for adultry, the 'Found Under Carnal Knowledge' for unsolved or unknown sex crimes or medical disease cases and the aforemenetioned, 'Fornication Under Consent of the King' are false and nothing more than interesting, humorous, urban myths that get passed along through the years.

Some scholars think the word may have been derived from the German 'ficken' which resulted in the Dutch 'fokken' which means to strike or penetrate quickly.  But others argue this would not explain the presence of the term in some countries that do not have Germanic word origins at all.   Other scholars wonder about a possible root combination of the Latin 'futere' and the Indo 'pecula' (which means 'to prick').

The fact is that the actual origin is not known and may never be known.  However there is no doubt whatsoever that the common acronyms usually attributed to 'fuck' are falsehoods...

Hate to date myself but way back in the dark ages of the 70's my rowdy friends and I would joke about "S.H.I.T." - and I think back at the time there WAS actually a Southern Hati Institue of Tech. One of us found it in the school library in a book with a listing of colleges, and being teenage boys at a straight-laced all boys school we just thought that was the best!
