Back channels get you the truth most times. Reviews are many times works of fiction... either aimed at punishing a provider, or inflated by fear of retaliation from a provider.
the reactions of providers on Switter now that TER seems to be on life support.
The same providers (who would proudly claim high TER scores/ratings/number of reviews in their ads) are now claiming how 'free' they feel without reviews (and TER), how they managed to keep switter review-free.
Not sure if providers really understand the value of reviews. Of course, like everything else, reviews aren't perfect, are prone to some abuse. But they were an absolute help for both parties. And as mentioned elsewhere on these forums, I also find it difficult to believe that business has not 'suffered' nowadays. Perhaps people do not want to accept the reality or are not honest about it. Sure, I'd accept that they'd be getting a lot of calls/texts what with many other sites being down, but how many actually do end up in a session? All one has to do is look at the various texts about - verifications, serious calls, etc. etc. on switter and would get the answer.
Reviews did work, not matter how free a provider feels on Switter, perhaps they were talking of having a lot of 'free' time on their hands. Don't know.
It is part of Marketing 101.
The best example I ever saw was in a Dilbert comic strip where his boss handed Dilbert a report and told him he had to present it to the Board of Directors. The report read succinctly: Our products are killing our customers. Dilberts report: There has been a great decrease in the number of dissatisfied customers.
My take from several gals I know well is that the SESTA generated changes, and TER's lack of ads and reviews is killing them.
Seems to be a lot of you're able to effectively glean how most providers feel based on your time on Switter.
Anyway, assuming that you're correct and that business is suffering, how do you know it's being caused by an absence of reviews and not simply the absence of a well-known listing? You really think people are forgoing sex with young, attractive women because they can't get an account of the last dude's fuck-session? Fuck outta here...
Look, reviews are great for motherfuckers who want to spend all jerking off to other people's sexual exploits, but how necessary are they for those of us who are actually spending the money to meet these girls? Probably not very.
Was about to post a proper reply but then saw it was you.. So stopped and deleted original reply.
Why bother?
Makes it easy to understand why they failed after they are gone. Also help oneself avoid the same maligned thoughts.
You tried to compose a counterargument, realized you didn't have a foot to stand on, so you posted this bullshit instead.
Hope he did not and doesn't come back.
All one has to do is take a look at his posts history and one can see that he always attacks a poster while at the same time contributing nothing to the topic on hand.
I guess it takes all kind ... ![]()
I second that.
....and have had great success. Their prices ranged from $300 - $500/hr which is kinda typical or even a bit lower than average for my high-priced area. None had a review that I could find so I went in blind on all of them. They all screened me and i would not have seen any of them had they not asked for references.
Bottom line - these sites and tools are what you make of them.
Was it their presentation, back channel, intuition?
Figuring out how to be successful and safe without reviews is the current conundrum.
....so I went with their requests for rigid screening, a price range that was in the arena that I would expect (not too low nor too high) , how they responded to my first contact with them (including grammar & spelling), and lastly was just gut instinct. That last one is of course the most risky, but it has served me well in this hobby of ours.
Yesterday i saw a post on Switter from a hot little Asian dish that is visiting LA from the SF area. My gut told me "go for it" so I inquired if she was girl friendly. She replied that she was a bit iffy about it, but her friend and fellow provider (who is 100% girl friendly) might be traveling with her and that I should check out her site. WOW is all I can say. Gorgeous and just my type. So I emailed her and she replied that we have a date when she gets to LA. Her reply, her rate, her screening request, my gut.....it all lined up. So we'll see what happens when her plane lands here next month ![]()
That does seem to be subjecting the 'gut' to a lot of pressure..
And that is what reviews would have taken care of
I have used reviews in the past to do my selection. It is helpful but not necessary. I now communicate with a group of guys I trust and we swap comments and target new ladies to pick the ones that work for us. I do have my MO to weed out those sad providers out there. Then I tend to stick to proven providers I enjoy for dinner, overnights and travel dates.
I record my adventures and events sharing with my group. I now have my providers give me a 360 recollection of our time together. I want to know what they liked and what they disliked about our experience together. It helps me to give them an experience that is memorable. Yes, I know I pay but I am a pleaser. I like to see emotion. Do they enjoy the experience?
Crazy I know but it is my thing.
Backchanneling has become essential for me. And the info I'm getting has proven more useful than reviews.

Yea and with my network, we will pop into each other's events from time to time. I have put on events and had fellow pooners join in. We have even swapped providers. One of my past providers has got pretty serious one of the guys I introduced her too.
As much value to me as the reviews themselves. Oftentimes, I would be trying to choose a girl from several, and the best I could do was narrow it down to two. So you go with your gut, when means you check the profile and pick the one with the biggest tits.
Switter is just another version of BP. I post, on there, but long for the days of TER. I worked hard for my reviews and hope TER i back, sooner then later.
I must be slow, I cannot seem to make switter work
Don't worry about it I did find it of much value.
Switter is a waste. Just BP with a social media flare.
Ya'll have me kind of scared to log back into Switter.
It was fine with I left but haven't been on it about 12 days or so (been a bit more on IG).
I can not tell you how many people that have said they wished they could have read my reviews. Some asked me if I had them copied, WHICH I DON'T. My exposure on TER review site was where my clients found me. This change has been devastating to my business.
I haven't explored switter much, but have seen some providers on twitter claim they felt free to be more authentic without worrying about scores. I am still learning this resource and trying to expand my network.
@madison_hare
to any city overseas and travel frequently to the US. I have my reviews up
still access their own TER reviews, so if you know some of the gents (or ladies) that have reviewed you in the past, you could ask them to send you a copy of their review of you. If you could put together a string of eight or ten of them, you would have something to show those that want to see some reviews before booking. The other choice, if its viable for you, is to move to another country where your reviews would become visible again. You could still tour back to the US a few times a year to see all of your old regulars while building up your business in your new home country.
