False positive. Install Microsoft Security Essentials. Its free and won't clog down your system's resources like Norton. There's less chance of a false positive as well.

Since yesterday, January 5, my Norton anti-virus program has been flashing a warning about TER every time I visit the site or click on a message or review. It never did this before. Any one have similar experiences? Any idea why this happened now--I've had the Norton program for years.

Just update your Apple OS frequently. If it makes you feel safer, switch to something less intrusive like Sophos or the other free stuff online for Macs. Apples pretty good with their own security patches anyways so you shouldn't have to worry about viruses if you keep everything up to date.
tried switching between Safari, Chrome, and or Firefox ? If one warns, but two others do not, then it is quite likely the browser's security setting is obnoxiously high and will blare a red alarm at every page you visit
