Recently I saw a lady who insists on her site that a DL get placed along with the envelope. Why do ladies do this? She asked me where I was from shortly after. So I'm wondering if she even looked at the thing or just texted a picture of it to her backup or something. In any other avenue in life I'd tell anyone demanding ID to go fuck themselves and not in the fun way. Or if absolutely necessary subvert the situation with a passport, fake or inaccurate ID.

I've been told by someone to check ID's as it was custom practice for new clients. It always felt very awkward and really started the date on an odd note.

Really, I don't see how it helps. For all I know it's a cop showing me his DL. They're not getting pulled over, so what's the point in showing me his badge? LOL. What good does it do me?

Been there done that. Awkward.

What better way to know that the "John Smith" you screened via email is actually "John Smith" than to check his ID? Sure a john could take the time to create a fake ID just to see a prostitute, but why go to that extreme, when there are more than enough ladies who don't require them.

or at least it can be marked.

Hey, Their rules.

I certainly would not nor have not told them to go "F" themselves
but I have had to cancel the date leading to when I found out it is required.

No worries, most don't.

It is humorous, as it is so easy to make a fake ID. Especially LE.

I wasn't referring to creating a fake just for this lifestyle. People may have some for general purposes which now could include this.

And im not going to stand there like a bouncer and stare back and forth between it and him for two minutes lol. Thatscwhy the screening process is so crucial

The problem with this faux sense of security is once you let him in the door, it's too late. What I mean is if you screened "John Smith" and he is a cop, you won't know that until he shows up, meaning it's a bit late to ask for a damn ID when you're in handcuffs. I've never used this practice...only to check the guy's ID against his P411 account, but even that is moot if I let him in the door.

that is exactly why i stick with my regulars or well reviewed ladies..i can lose a hard-on quickly by being interrogated.

his TER or P411 account (they do that).

I've never checked ID, but I get why some ladies do. In the instances that it's not actually LE, they're able to ensure the guy is who they screened for.

With all the things that have transpired lately (RE: accounts getting hacked, clients not being nice and giving us ugly jewelry that goes on our wrists) I can understand why. She must have had a reason. Maybe you only had one recent provider referral or none. Maybe your Google presence was weak.

It always cracks me up when people get so offended when asked to prove who they are. Maybe your so pissed because we weren't who you said you are..?

Some people may remember that case from a few years ago. According to the report, she answered the door in lingerie and immediately started with sex stuff/donation stuff. Now the operative question is- had she gone about things very differently and ALSO asked for his ID right out of the gate, would she still have gotten arrested and had her property searched and many of her possesions seized? PROBABLY. Though she may have had an easier time getting the charges dropped, had she decided to take it to trial.

She has his info. You can cover up your address and birth date...all she wants to see is the name you CLAIM is yours (the one she screened) and your picture. No one wants your damn SS number. Before you visit a provider put white tape over all the info. you don't want seen, but I must say honey...with a real name I can find out where you went to college, where you live, and how many marriages, divorces, and bankruptcies you've had in less than 10 min.

Is going to be upset as this has been discussed before.

Just move on. Her safety, her rules

I have rules also.

Don't tell her to "F" herself. That is just mean

He was a contractor so he would get all the info of the homeowner where he was working and use that for screening.  He killed several girls outside of Disneyland before he was caught because one escort managed to get away from him.  She testified and convicted him.  She is a known escort on these boards today.  He hit her over the head and she managed to burn him with a curling iron and get out into the hallway is the only reason she is alive today.

So living another day would be a good reason to check to make sure the person you screened is the person standing before you.

And, what happens when she finds out it is NOT the person after they are already alone in the hotel room? This girl was lucky...end of story. If a guy wants to kill you, checking his fake ID is not going to stop him. It's a little late, unless you have the guy meet you in public to do that.

I had a friend who was raped in a damn Hilton in broad daylight. She checked his ID alright...I am sure that helped her considering she did not call the cops and the ID was not the same name he gave for screening. Had she met him in public to find that out, another story, but they were behind closed doors, and a knife was at her throat.

I would rather take my chances that if he knows that you ARE going to ask for the ID, he might move along to a more willing victim.

are the men you screened for and not their buddies sharing an account. I may be naive, but I don't think there are that many serial killers out there. Still, some ladies want to know the guy they screened for is the guy in their presence, even if he's not going to kill them.

He probably has two DL's one for work and his personal one. He could show the personal one and still bust you. No guarantees.

This is all justified and well and good, but MY point is if I am not 100 percent sure the guy I am seeing is the one I have already screened, there will be NO MEETING. I am not going to wait til I am alone in a room to ask a guy for his ID. If it is that important for me to know this about him, I would have him meet me somewhere in pubic to do it. I get everyone has their own way of doing things, but this makes zero sense to me. Once you are behind a locked door with a man twice your size, making sure he is the one you screened at that point, is nuts. What are you going to do if it's not the guy? I've heard of providers having the guy slip the ID under the door BEFORE they let him in, but after? Um, no thanks.
