The vast majority of legit provider web sites and ads don't show faces.  Many of the ads on BP that do are only doing so because the pictures are fake.  

I would say that you have to do whatever works for you but I think you are limiting yourself to a very small segment of the provider population.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I have a really hard time (aka can't do it) with contacting a provider who doesn't show pictures of their face.  For me, its one of the biggest turn ons and what I look for in a provider when she has a beautiful face with nice eyes and a smile.   No Top 10 body in the world can cure a snaggle tooth or lazy eye, and either of those will kill any chance of something going down.

What pisses me off is the vast array of fake pictures on the ads.  When I see a ad with say a pretty blond with long hair and what shows up at the door is a girl with short black curly hair and not the body you saw in the ad, that is whats wrong!  The ladies need to post REAL pictures with maybe a partial blocked face pic, something that just gives us a idea what her face looks like.

If someone wanted to see them in order to make the final decision, they had to provide me screening information.  

Interestingly enough, it made no impact on decision making.  So risk of having those pictures out did not offset benefit of increased bookings.

"Looking better than your pictures" can mean different things to different people. You are correct that many of us do not show our faces due to privacy concerns.  I have to be very careful because of my regular job and my kids so I don't show my face on my ads or on the regular part of my site.  I do know it is important for many of you to see the whole picture so I've created a special section of my website where you can go to see the full uncut, unedited pics, and yes they all show my face.  Since privacy is a concern for me I do charge a small fee, but really is $3.99 for a trial too much to pay to get the information you need to be sure you are making a good decision?

I don't have a problem with a provider not showing her face but photos are important nonetheless. Most legitimate  providers have a "review" track record that in most cases can be verified by the user if need be. My only gripe is the requirement of some providers asking for an appointment before a phone number (or sometimes an email address) is provided. I want to talk to someone before I make a decision to see them as to their comfort level and verbal expression. I know some guys have "jack-off-the-mouthitis" and that's poor form. But still, I want to have a short phone conversation with someone first. The providers that I've seen (both reviewed and not) have all been very comfortable and confident in my conversations with them.

For privacy reasons I do not show a full face picture.My family does not know what I do and I wish for it to remain that way.So many times we have heard about providers pics being stolen and used by someone else.It might be someone in the same city as the provider or in another state could be another country using her pictures where a provider just might have family located there.I post on my ads/website pics that show different angles,blur face,and cropped face pics so at least a gentleman will have an idea.I am sure there are some gents that have not contacted me because I do not show my face and I am fine with that because there are many who do not have an issue.Then there are some gents that are intrigued by no face pics and want to find out more.Don't count out a provider if she does not show her face you might be missing out on a mind-blowing time.As long as she has reviews and is a reputable provider you should consider seeing her.

I have recognized some ladies from blurred, face covered with hair, even head cropped off pictures. I was able to do it because I had known them for a long time before they went into the business. Their hair, their body, even the way they stand let me know who they were. ( It wasn't an issue. I kept what I knew to myself. They were ok with me knowing.) I believe this supports the contention that those that really know you will "know" you from photos whatever you do to them. With that said I don't believe there is anything wrong with doing all you deem necessary to protect your identity. We all say there is some risk no matter what you do and it's up to you what acceptable risk is.

In addition to many ladies needing privacy due to regular jobs and children, another important thing to consider is booking hotels.
