That is excellent!  Now all we have to do is get Gambler to fly LP to Costa Rica and he can buy a one hour doubles session!

I'm going to start doing my impression of the FCC.  You know, I'm going to enforce the rules in an arbitrary and capricious manner with no advance discussion of what is allowed.  I can say that I will no longer tolerate aliases that are a mocking of another user's basic handle.  I can promise that if necessary, I'm prepared to moderate you and disallow anything you post on every board I moderate for as long as I'm in a position to do so, or at least until I get laid, whichever comes first.

I hate censorship and have tried to allow your inner adult to be your guide, but apparently there are too many 14-yr old boys that have their father's passwords.

Make a few posts on your home / regional board that conform to the the rules, and then ask your local board moderator to un-moderate you, and he/she most likely will... no magic to it....

but you are free to do me a freebie if you like :)

Although the policy enforcements sited by LP are probably long overdue on this general board, anyone who has visited the Atlanta board in the last week or so knows that it hit an all time low with the introduction of a couple newbies who spent days provoking even the most silent innocents.  I'd personally like to see LP stick to his guns for a little while and see if we can't return some sense of professionalism to the various posts.  Then we can talk about his needs to get laid... lol

I've been a member for about ten years. I was an almost daily poster for quite a while, I loved this board, and I met quite a few people, providers and hobbyists, through TER. I looked forward to logging on several times a day for the mostly intelligent discussion, witty banter, and valuable information. Things have been going downhill for quite a while. I complained a lot and got nowhere and finally realized I didn't enjoy coming here any more. I dropped my VIP and stayed away completely for a long time. Now I lurk and post once a month or so when something really hits me, but I ignore the sandbox threads and jeez, there's not much else.

I respect the views of many mods who don't want to be censors, but when the conversation deteriorates to name calling, insults, flame wars, and all the other childish crap that has lowered the general IQ of this place by at least 50 points, I say shut 'em off. Good luck.

The use of aliases has nothing to do with either a person's age or ED- that's what makes it a cheap shot.  Yet for some reason, all the age insults on the Gen. Discussion Boards seem to be tolerated, no problem.

The fact that the poster did this using an alias on a thread talking about the moderator needing to deal with that very subject, makes it hard for me to understand how that is acceptable, whereas my response gets deleted.
