Also, check out Loreena Mckennitt.   Search for the song "The Lady of Shalott" for 12 minutes of one insanely beautiful song, or if you want some drums and rhythm,  search for "The Bonny Swans".   She is obscure, but what she can do with her voice, you can do with 'other parts'  ie: take you to heaven!

There is a Japanese guitarist named Kitaro who also does good mood/background music for this form of entertainment as well.
