That's true but I've noticed a recent change.
.
It used to be that if Mary Smith (Profile name: Mary Smith) changes her name to Jane Doe, TER would change the name of the Profile to "Jane Doe / Mary Smith" (with the newer name first -backslash- older name second). Sometimes, there were several names: "Mary / Jane / Susie / Sally" in chronological order. A NAME search on any of those names would find the merged / updated Profile.
.
It was the same policy for operating under more than one "current" name, something that often happens with K-girls.  Coco in NYC has a Profile and Reviews Coco. In LA, her agency already has a Coco so she is working as Luna and a client creates a NEW profile and reviews as Luna. Back in NYC, she is Coco again. Someone realizes it's the same K-girl and the profiles get merged into one with the Profile name "Luna / Coco."
.
When Profiles are MERGED (Coco + Luna), TER is supposed to keep the OLDER Profile number and delete the newer number. That way, Coco Profile# 222222 (a number with an approximate start date) can't become Luna / Coco Profile# 333333 with a much more recent freshness date. The merged Profile should be "Luna / Coco Profile# 222222."
.
What I've noticed more recently is that the older names are getting DELETED and not merged. Mary Smith changes her name to Jane Doe. The old Profile [number] Mary Smith + Reviews becomes Profile [same number] Jane Doe without mention of Mary Smith but the Reviews are carried forward.  The oldest review still says, "I met Mary Smith at her hotel." but now, a few years later, her Profile with all the reviews only says Jane Doe.
.
There are upsides and downsides to keeping names or stripping names. For the client who is looking to revisit Mary Smith, he can longer find her Profile and reviews with a NAME search because her Profile is now just "Jane Doe." That is sometimes a downside for a Provider who has a good rep and wants her former friends to be able to find her. On the other hand, if a Provider wants to start fresh or abandon some bad reviews, only having one name and losing the original name is an advantage. The old "Mary Smith" reviews are still there, but are harder to find. There is also the case where a Provider is a Rod Stewart fan and, unnecessarily IMO, wants to stay Forever Young http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mwG6g5boyF4 .

Sally 22 yo + 5 years becomes Susie 22 yo + 5 years becomes Jane 22 yo + 5 years becomes Mary 22 yo and the Profile Name is NOT Mary / Jane / Susie / Sally, 37 yo. All of the reviews, going back 15 years are still there but the Profile Name is truncated to Mary 21-25 yo.

I prefer the "keep all of the names" policy, "Mary / Jane / Susie / Sally," even if the oldest names used are stale: (current) Mary / (old) Jane / (older) Susie / (oldest) Sally and keep the oldest, LOWEST NUMBER TER Profile ID number, not the newest TER ID number.

Some girls rename themselves and get a new ter id so that all older reviews are now not associated with her.  What do you guys do when you notice this?

It’s not enough to simply “notify” TER.  You have to provide PROOF that the provider is the same woman in both profiles.

When a provider changes her name, she commonly removes her ads with the old name from her first profile.  Without photos to compare, TER won’t combine the profiles simply on your say so…no matter how respectful you are, Robert

Give TER admin as much information as possible so it's clear that the provider is the same. Include links to ads with same pics if possible.

You could also post a 'buyer beware' on her local board.

What great lengths a provider maybe have been through. Many are outed, or threatened. She may have created a new profile to escape harassment from fellow providers lots of factors to consider dear. I try not to judge. Who are you referring to darling? Any link to share…

I agree with this. I know a few that have explained why they changed their name and number etc and at first I was like ahh that’s bs but then I thought about it and ended up seeing the same provider but with a different name. I’ll never tell but I have seen things on other review sites where guys just blast girls info, pretty itty thing to do to someone who is clearly running from an imminent threat

It’s always nice to see a provider’s history, if possible! I lost track of one regular who changed her name and contact info because she was being harassed! It to me six months to find out she was still working under a new name with blurred photos! I recognized that luscious body from many close encounters! She’s a kgirl with a low volume booker, and she’s not on the big k-sites with 20 providers. She’s back in the rotation now!
