I hope they are given more latitude in how they can promote themselves.  As far as the other changes,  so far, so good!

Nudity is already allowed.  It was not allowed before. Also, sex scenes.

We have had 3 Twitter accounts shut down. The first one had 27K followers and was active for 13 years. On the 4th one we no longer post photos. I still don't understand why the first 3 got shut down either. The photos that we posted were not like anything I continue to see on Twitter.

Things will be more relaxed in terms of what is allowed and what's not..  If you guys followed the whole conversation about Musk buying Twitter, most people feared that he will allow everything and anything.  Based on what I have heard / read it seems that Elon Musk believes in extreme form of Free Speech.  

Just a guess: it’s the difference between giving away porn and selling ass. One is legal. The other is not and could lead to legal issues.

Speech is either free or it isn’t. “ moderated” is a euphemism for censored. Then you need to question the motives behind the moderator. Nazi Germany had moderated free speech. All. "Hate speech" is subjective. So is "offensive speech." Somebody will always be offended by some point of view they disagree with.  Censorship will always be a war between those in and out of power. The only real solution is to learn to tolerate the expression of diverse ideas -- and defeat them with better arguments.

100% agree Lester. The intent of the First Amendment was not to legitimize popular speech, or speech favoring the majority. No, the intent of the First Amendment was to protect unpopular speech, controversial speech, and the ability to question and criticize the majority opinion from being censored or punished by the majority. Let's let everyone speak, have debate, and allow the folks to decide for themselves what is the truth and who are the truthtellers.

Can contributors monetize their twitter content as easily (or for as much) as they can on OF or other platforms?  A ban would force oglers to pay-for-play.
